We booked this hotel since it was relatively close for a late arrival from Auckland and a early departure at 6:00 AM flight out of Cairns to the US the next day. The lobby was okay, typical lobby, spend the money here but this is where it stopped. We going to our room we noticed how dirty everything and lack... More

Stayed for three nights at this hotel in April, I would say slept for three nights but that would be a lie seeing as I'm not sure I slept. The staff were fine, friendly and did their jobs. However the room was not just tired, it was exhausted. There was a one inch gap under the door so anything could... More

I am writing this from my room before I go looking for somewhere else to stay. Bus groups smoking, drinking and yelling all along the balcony. The air conditioning is on 16c and has no effect. The milk in the fridge is off! Management say they will look into these problems when they are less busy!

Never complained about anything in my life but we have come here on our honeymoon to find this far from 4.3 star accommodation which it was advertised at via discover Australia and then on the website directly. No free wi-wi in the rooms, t.v.'s would be the first flat screens that ever came out. Furniture is so outdated in rooms.... More

This hotel was excellent value for money. It is quiet, clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The expansive garden is beautiful and well maintained. Three large main pools, surround by beautiful trees were clean and stylish (one had a swimming cave that children loved). An old sytle hotel, well maintained with basic clean rooms. It's not a... We stayed in this hotel for one night when we landed in Cairns and it was absolutely fine for what we needed. We landed very late, came straight to the hotel, crashed and left the next morning for Port Douglas. The price was very good and we felt we got good value. The room was pretty basic but clean and... I don't often write reviews, but if writing this saves one person the disappointment I felt when I arrived here, then it will be well worth it !! The first thing I realised after leaving the airport was that the location was terrible! To get into the restaurants, the beach, or even the shop ... it's a $15 - $20... More
