Very Good Option, quite close to Cairns downtown. Good Rooms, very good cleaning and a very, very friendly crew, swimming pool and BBQ, makes Coral Tree inn the best option to stay in Cairns. A special thanks to INDU, our happy receptionist, that received us so well and suggest us 2 of our best experiences in Australia, a tour day... More

Want something viable close to Cairns centre and from which to travel around, this will do you well. Yes a bit tired but staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast was fine with a special of 30 dollars for 2 and as much as you want. Good value. People should match their expectations to the cost.

Horrible experience with management /staff who didn't give a damn or care. Stuck for ages with 2 young kids in a hot room sweating as air cons broken. They didn't really care. Said few times they'd come back to us after checking for more rooms etc and never did any if the times. After last time going down stairs we... More

Dear Cara G, Firstly please let me advise you your review has been referred to Trip Advisor. Your version of events seem to differ greatly from the notes our Hotel Manager (who was on duty the afternoon you arrived) has placed on your reservation. Cairns in January is very hot with high humidity. Rooms will take time to cool down... More

My friend and I stayed at the Coral Tree Inn for 5 nights. We spent a lot of time in the lovely pool, just the right temperature for hot Cairns! We dropped off our bags in the morning, went for a walk and then the receptionist rang us and allowed an early check in of 12pm. The staff were so... More

Just consider it if you're staying just for a night like we did on our way to Port Douglas. Not a very pleasant vibe, looks old and cheap, the breakfast is inedible, they charge for things like pool towels. The only nice thing about it is the staff that was always very helpful.

I booked in to the Coral Tree Inn for a couple of nights. I didn't want anything too budget or too expensive and this place fitted the bill for a mid range place. It wasn't as close to Cairns centre as I had imagined but, it's Cairns so it was only an extra 5 minutes walk to the town centre.... More

The hotel is very well located, and all the interesting places are just a few minutes away. You can walk to the mall or to the fleet terminal in less than 10 minutes. On arrival the hotel upgraded us to a suite for an extra £10 per night. This was great as we now had a kitchen so did our own breakfasts actually saving money! Excellent place to stay, very close to central, well decorated inside. Friendly staff members. Swimming pool, bbq outdoor lounge, nice and quiet. Would advice to upgrade some of the AC systems and the ceiling fan needs adjustment according to the bed. But overall I would recommend.
