You can see why Accor changed this hotel from a Sofitel to a Pullman. It is no longer suitable to carry the Sofitel brand as the rooms are starting to age and cleanliness standards are slipping. It doesn't have the TV channel choices that one would be looking for on holidays, with more of a news and business focus, which... more

The rooms are nice at the Reef Casino Hotel and the hotel has a great location. Having said that, I would recommend that you eat elsewhere, because there are many restaraunts outside of the hotel. Be aware that if you choose a breakfast option when booking, it is not prepaid. The room is paid but the breakfast is not, and... more

Stayed at the Pullman Reef for 5 nights (with an interim night between, where we stayed at the Green Island Resort) for our honeymoon during 14-20 June. Chose the hotel mainly because I stayed at the Pullman in Bangkok last summer and thought it was fantastic. A bit disappointed with the hotel rooms. Used to the luxury of Asian hotels,... more

The first hotel, and by far the best, hotel we stayed at in Australia! The staff were awesome in every aspect. The breakfast was better than expected. There was a ZOO on top of the hotel... come on tell me that is not amazing! I held a Koala there!!! Rooms very clean. Location amazing so close to everything including shopping,... more

Check in was very matter of fact and certainly well lacking of a 5 star venue. The room was very well appointed, however it was possibly the softest bed I have ever slept on. The inner fittings of the hotel are looking rather dated and the pool area is more suited to a 3 to 4 star hotel. We ate... more

Stayed in a Deluxe Room with spa and water views. The rooms are very nicely furnished, great bathroom with open spa design and seperate toilet. The breakfast buffet in the Pacific Flavours restaurant is excellent. Unfortuntately there is currently a construction site right in front of the hotel which causes significant noise from as early as 7 am. This affects... more

Stayed here on our honeymoon in July 2008 for a couple of days in-between other hotels. We were tired from running around Queensland and Green Island (having fun of course) and just wanted to hang out at this hotel and order room service. What a place to do it. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more accomodating. We couldn't... more

We stayed here early April with our 11 year old daughter. Really great hotel, our room was fantastic, although we did pay extra when we booked for a bigger room so i can't comment on a standard room. All the staff really friendly and a really good location especially for the free espanade swimming pool, which is huge! Also close... more

We stayed 5 nights at Pullman Reef Hotel Our room had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable (though my partner thought the bed was too soft) There was a construction going on outside the hotel but we didn't hear anything from our room so that was OK. Location is great, the esplanade is a 3 minutes walk away... more
