Spent one night here on our way to Port Douglas. Good value for money, but not a place I would recommend anyone to stay for more than one night. Helpful host in recommending place for breakfast. Nice swimmingpool.

Idnar 2014 had a quick stopover and stayed in one of our budget motel rooms. Most of our rooms are spacious apartments with full kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge. Reasonably priced and conveniently located, our apartments are a great option for holiday makers exploring the tropical north. Definitely worth more than an one night stay! More

Booked this place on I net looked good , arrived checked into room , pulled back bed covers ,beds filthy. Opened presses , empty sardine tins started to look more , under couch filthy ,shopping trolley outside back door. Easily worst place I've come across ,only good point got deposit back .

This was a truly unfortunate incident where we had a disgruntled room cleaner. The house was full and there was no time to check the room between the time the cleaner sabotaged it and the time the guest arrived. Normally we would have moved the guest to a clean room immediately. In the circumstances all I could offer was to... More

Great look at the front with Garden and Pool. Secured Garage. Had Wifi facility. Rooms were comfortable. Bedrooms were fitted with window air con. drawing room with ceiling fan. Kitchen was well equipped with a small dining table. Friendly Manager. You wouldn't get a wow experience but this apartment will provide you comfortable - a near home experience. cons: near... More

Lovely place to stay. I spent two nights in hotel, due to flying before and after diving on the Great Barrier Reef. Very friendly owner, who made me feel very welcome from start to finish. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. About a mile up the road is the town centre, which is lovely to visit in the day for shopping,... More

Nice place to stay for one night or for a holiday. we stayed for 7 nights. You are close to shops and the walk along the esplanade. Got rooms cleaned every 3 days. Good rates too for a friendly motel.

Manager friendly and available. He needed to be, neither the security screen or the sliding glass door were lockable. He had to put screen back on track. Bed was good, shower flow good, gorgeous pool and barbeque area, location to some smaller adequate shops great....BUT the kitchen was very poorly equipped. The mugs were "old" and crockery/cutlery only minimum provision.... More

Stayed 1 night (had booked for 7) in May 2014. From what was on computer to what you get was vast difference. The room was so basic it bordered on poverty. Dirty brown lounge with ? stains. Table bolted to floor, dirty old wood cupboards like my grandma had (and I am 64), air conditioner rusted and made LOUD noise... More

We recently stayed here with a group of cyclists for the MTB World Cup round. The facilities do the job for what we required in that the rooms were self contained and clean. The staff were very helpful and more than happy to assist with any requests during our stay and the booking process. At the price charged I found... More

My partner and myself stayed here for a week in November 2013. It was not the most glamorous place in the world but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, had loads of local knowledge and helped us with directions. Thank you. It was not loud as some people have said. You are able to... More

We found the Oasis Inn by accident, having not been able to find a caravan park open in which to park our camper-van. It was 8.45 pm, but the owner was very welcoming. We had our 11 year old daughter with us and the owner apologetically told us that the triple rooms had gone and they only had a one... More
