What a hidden gem this place is. Right near New Farm Park, easy access to the ferries and busses. An easy walk to The Valley, a few minutes stroll to the shopping centre and lots of local restaurants. The accommodation is very neat and clean. I loved in Bris for 12 years and found this place heading back for a... More

Loved our stay at Edward Lodge, grand old building very homely. The staff are great and very helpful.our was room was very clean and tidy. The complementary breakfast was unexpected but was great. Looking forward to our next stay in Brisbane and will be back again in November .

A very clean room in a character building close to restaurants and other amenities. The room I got was a bit small, but I saw other ones that had desks and a sitting area and were very nice. Good kitchen downstairs with cereal and toast provided to make your own breakfast. Nice atmosphere, friendly place, good value. Bed was OK... More

From the minuet you walk into this warm welcoming place you get that Homely relaxing feeling! Then you meet the couple that run the lodge and you relax into what can only be described as being a home from home. Ray & Barbara along with there son Matthew are all both professional and extremely helpful to there customers, weather you... More

This is a great place to stay as it is very easy to get to the city but it is also within easy walking distance to some great bars. We took our bikes and were able to leave them within the walls of the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious; the bed was very comfortable and there was free... More

We had a wedding in the area so we stayed over just for the weekend but this gorgeous couple of hosts were very welcoming. Great customer services, it felt like we were visiting members of our family. Very clean and well organized rooms, great area of Brisbane and very close to everything! We definitely would recommend this place! Vanessa and... More

We chose this hotel based on its location, which was perfect. Rooms were clean and quiet. When we arrived (hotel open, unlocked and unattended), we had to call the hotel number to locate someone. No voluntary info at all provided on check in, and we had to ask seperately about payment, breakfast, wifi (very iffy) and check out, as required.... More

I stayed at Edward Lodge for 2 nights over New Years. I was attending a party at the Powerhouse in Brisbane, and this hotel was suited a 10 minute walk away, so I decided to give it a try. It turns out, I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The owners are amazingly friendly, always have time for a chat. Check in... More

The story!! I have just had the most incredible couple of days in New Farm staying at Edward Lodge. At short notice I decided to stay 2 nights in Brisbane to go to an exhibition at Philip Bacon Galleries (Fortitude Valley). My go to apartment in Spring Hill was booked out so I had to do some research. Edward Lodge... More

We stayed at Edward Lodge this last weekend, and it was evident that a number of people staying there were attending weddings nearby. It is a great central location in New Farm close to Merthyr Village shops and numerous eateries. Edward Lodge is an older venue which has been refurbished into a roomy comfortable and homely accomodation venue. Our room... More
