Centrally located from Roma St train station, approx 8 minute walk with a slight incline. Plenty of dining choices & supermarket nearby & can definitely recommend Cabiria (across the road & tucked in behind Hogs Breath. Whilst it is a guest house, it is very close to several backpackers in the same street & I found lots of people hanging... More

Based myself here for a week of business. Convenient for going most places. Cooking facilities if you want, but heaps of good eating places within 5 minutes walk. Room was clean and tidy, with character. The floor slopes and the doors swing un controlled. The house was built in 1877 I think and has an heritage cover on it. Much... More

Stayed here for a Saturday night after watching the Rugby at the Suncorp Stadium. We got the twin bunk room and I wasn't expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised. It is nothing flash but ticks all the right boxes. There is no breakfast provided anymore but there is ample cooking facilities, if that floats ya boat, or head to... More

We loved the feel of the rooms we stayed in. The feel of being at nanas house, was lovely. The bed was like in my childhood memories of being in my grandparents bed, all cosy and warm. Like sleeping on a cloud. I loved the claw footed bath, it added to the experience. We wanted somewhere close to the suncorp... More

Wow, had a great time in Brisbane. Eton House and her staff where excellent. Henry was amazingly helpful and knows his computer stuff inside and out, I needed a little help and didn't have to look any further than the caretakers hut at the side of the house. My room was excellent also, two amazingly comfortable beds, well the one... More

I loved the atmosphere of the house that has been divided into several rooms - my room had its own ensuite others had shared bathrooms - very close to Roma St Station, lovely cafés and cinemas nearby - few minutes walking distance. Manager was very friendly and helpful and rooms exceptionally clean. My only negative was that I could hear... More

Having stayed at the Eton a few times before I could not believe the changes that have taken place. When my husband booked he didn't notice that there was a note stating NO Breakfast - this is listed as a Bed and Breakfast! We knew that the rooms were small and that the walls are quite thin but have valued... More

Just spent 2 great nights here. The room was smaller than I first thought but was clean and well equiped for the price. Irena and Henry were very helpful and we had a great lunch at a cafe/bar only 2 doors up from Eton. Brisbane is a greta place to visit only made nicer by our stay at Eton House.

We had booked online for a queen room to receive a small boxed in dirty uncomfortable room. 1 ft between the fridge that was leaking and the bed with wires runny g all across the floor. On top of the fridge is a small desk that is cramped with a shifty fukn t.v the size of a phone with no... More

We were in Brisbane for an Exhibition at the Convention Centre and were on a budget so looking for a place within walking distance. The 3 of us stayed in room 5. Very impressed with the cleanliness of an old heritage home. Cosy place to stay and happy to recommend it to seniors visiting Brisbane. Free wifi was also provided... More
