We booked this Hotel from a google seach, we wanted to be close to the CBD, while they say 600m to the train station its a long walk. Check in was fast and the staff member (Aaron) was helpful and friendly. He explained how to get around the local area and the hotel's services. He is a major asset to... more

Checked out of the hotel this morning. While it's certainly nothing flash or spectacular I don't know why people are complaining. The room that I stayed in was clean and while there was a bit of noise from some of the restaurants in the complex, they all closed fairly early. I arrived at the hotel at about 10:01pm just as... more

I stayed in this hotel a number of times in 2007 and the experience never got any better. The motivation was the location and it was convenient. The facilities were hideous. Every room had defects and were generally tired. On one stay the fridge was not working when I got in and it took house keeping (if you call it... more

Great location with everything you need within walking distance. I stayed here many years ago when it was still new and it was great but it has become a bit run down and is need of being upgraded. The first two apartments I was allocated were not up to standard with things like a hole in the bedroom wall, stains... more

Getting your luggage down the steps to enter the reception area will be pain if you have heavy luggage, did realise there was a ramp on the far side near cafe (not visible in the dark). Unenthusiactic greeting by staff. When inspecting the room, the aircon was looking like its about to fall off (the filter covering was loose), the... more

It was our first time in Brisbane and also had my brother & his g/f from overseas. If you are checking in at night, you will appreciate the night after service, is smooth as silk. The room was space with a bedroom upstairs with all the modern appliances available and very much in good working conditions. 24hours IGA (supermarket), takeaways,... more

Yes I know the price was cheap, but still!!!! This is simply one of those really depressing hotels where everything is tired and no one cares, which is such a pity as it is such a great location. The staff were ambivalent about everything, the room was dark, many lights did not work, nor did the hair dryer or the... more

Has good sized rooms, and is in a complex with heaps of things to eat, buy etc. Very convienent taxi ride to the CBD. I stayed in a studio room and it was a good sized and modern. However, the bathroom at something that looked like feces on the wall which was never removed in my 3 night stay. The... more

I stayed a total of two nights. I found the Central Brunswick Apartment Hotel on [--] it had a four star rating and the first line describing the hotel on the website is this – “Brunswick Apartment Hotel is one of Brisbane's finest apartment hotels” Despite finding this accommodation on [--] I made the booking over the phone stating that... more

Stayed in a One Bedroom Apartment in the complex for a week in April 2006. The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived on a public holiday so reception was closed, but self check-in with use of a key safe was easy and straightforward. The apartment was reasonably spacious, well cleaned and everything functioned well, though the television sometimes had... more
