Stayed here for the night after flying into Brisbane on a year holiday visa. Had a double room with en-suite which had everything I needed. no signs of bed bugs in my room, had a ok nights sleep but room was above the noisey kitchen. Didnt really get a chance to explore the 'hotel' as I was off on my... More

This basic accommodation is in an attractive old building, with a nice bit of quirkiness to it. The deck area is very pleasant and our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed there when making on overseas connection in Brisbane that required an overnight stop. It is accessible from the airport using the airport rail link and then a 10... More

I've never written an accommodation review before, however I felt compelled to on this occasion as I'm currently sat in the departure lounge of Brisbane airport covered in bed bug bites due to my stay at Brisbane Manor. Despite its rather lavish title, Brisbane Manor is a complete hole infested with bed bugs. I stayed for one night and woke... More

This hotel is a little treasure. We loved the decking area, where we made many friends over a couple of bottles of wine. The staff here were extremely helpful, and let us help ourselves to wine glasses from the kitchen, so we could share our wine with our new found friends. The room was quite small, but all that we... It's a lovely old building, lots of good points - location, cleanliness, atmosphere, amenities etc. But if you want TV, don't bother, it's atrocious. External aerials but feck all in reception, even with the major channels. I mean, really, we don't come here to watch telly, but it would be nice to see the news and see what's going on... More

We booked here for 2 nights, mainly for the location to the valley and CBD which was unbeatable. The place was in good condition, girl at reception was lovely and we had no problems with our booking. Even the cleaner was very friendly and offered to open my room for me when my friend was in the shower and couldnt... More

We paid $90 a night to stay here as it was the cheapest accommodation we could find. We stayed for 5 nights and only need the hotel as a place to sleep as we were out for the majority of the day. The location is about 5mins walk from the Fortitude Valley train station and about the same to the... More

My work colleague and I had rooms for an overnight stay here and is was a great alternative to the sterile, modern hotel/motels that we normally use. It is like stepping back in time to a bygone era with creaky floors, hallway runners and wall panelling. It didn't have mod cons but really was a great alternative. For $100 per... More

We stayed at Brisbane Manor while attending a Congress at the Old Museum. The location was perfect, right across the road from our event, and a 10-15minute walk from the train station, supermarket and Fortitude Valley's Cafes, Restaurants and Bars. The manor is a fair distance from the city itself, so we only managed to see the city on one... More

I'm from Melbourne and I stayed here for 2 nights and was attacked by bed bugs, by the time I got home my arms were COVERED in them. I had to get an exterminator in at my home and I threatened the hotel with legal action and they ended up paying back the money that the exterminator cost me ($300+... More
