We stayed here for quite a few nights purely for convenience. 1st night was noisy due to other guests and we also had cockroaches in our room (avoid room 2), the second night, there was a visit from the police about a guest and the night was extreme noisy due to the other drunk guests, there were about 3 problem... We stayed here a few years ago so we were close to the EKKA at the Showgrounds. We don't usually stay in this style of accommodation but found it to be a fun experience and extremely handy to the showgrounds which is a short walk at the end of the road, which is why we booked here. We stayed here... More

Brisbane Manor was the first accommodation I had in Australia. I arrived on New Year's Day . The room was clean and comfortable .. There was no view. The desk sold beer! Yay! The nice lady at the desk also patiently gave me directions to a shopping area where I could have dinner.

Stayed and this hotel to attend a concert at the Tivoli, which is less than a 2 minute walk away around the corner. The room was spacious, very spacious...plenty of room to swing a cat that's for sure. But the meagre furnishings, the décor, carpets etc are all very dated, and while it was fun to travel back to the... More

The first room I was allocated hadn't been cleaned so they changed me to another room. This one didn't have any toilet rolls but they got some quickly. Shortly afterwards, I noticed that the fridge had been switched off and its door opened so some of the carpet squares were absolutely soaking. The very helpful girl on reception brought a... More

Booked this hotel through a secret deal website. Was told it was a 3 star hotel along the lines of a crown plaza or sheraton hotel. It definitely was not. I would have called it a upmarket hostel. Room was very basic. Could hear people walking up and down the corridor outside. The toilet and shower facilities were outside the... More

We had a queen room with share bathroom. Don't mind sharing bathroom and showers were very clean and tidy. Room was massive. No air conditioning in the room we booked but fan was definitely enough. I could not believe how close this was to the Valley. Walk 3 Blocks and you can be at Fortitude Valley Train station take less... More

Friendly staff and basic accommodation. Not 5 star but good value for money and handy to RBH. Historic building, limited parking but clean communal cooking facilities. Good public transport options close by.

I stayed here recently. The walls are paper thin. Could hear kids screaming and people having sex. The stories of roaches coming out at night are true. The parking is a bit tight but at the time of stay there were enough to go around. Air conditioning is cool, but I would imagine that one of their rooms without A/C... More
