It's a nearest caravan park of Brisbane if you plan to visit this busy city. Have been stay there for few weeks, the shower water is a little bit small, this makes me took more time in the shower. It's a convenience place which you can walk to the new market shopping mall buy things from Coles also post office... More

We stayed here over Easter. It was excellent. The park was well maintained, friendly, helpful staff. Close to the bus into town (15 min.trip) plus shopping centre & Newmarket hotel ( to watch the footy). Next to Great creek side walking track. The only negative is it was a bit of a walk to the large, very clean & recently... More

I was refused entry to Newmarket Gardens Caravan Park on the grounds "I didn't have photo 'ID'" explained - I must have misplaced at airport on my arrival, I had medicare, heath card, debit card, showed my airline tickets, all in my name. I was not asked for any other proof of ID - I was turned away and told by... More

Park is only 4km to Brisbane CBD with some public transport at door step or on main road [5mins] walk. Park has powered / unpowered sites, on site basic vans and cabins. Van sites reasonable size with concrete slab. Medium size amenities cleaned daily, laundry with front loader washers, campers kitchen & BBQ's. Park has some seasonable wildlife: ducks, rainbow... Enjoying city life with a campervan is difficult business. It's a headache and expensive. This site offered us the best of both worlds while we partied at StereoSonic. It was tricky getting in and out of the city via public transport especially at night but we managed in the end. Each spot has its on grass patch so there is... More

I cannot understand what people want from a caravan - a replacement home I suppose? I have travelled up and down the East Coast over the past two years and have stayed in this park probably 5/6 times for various lengths of time. I have always received courteous, efficient and friendly attention on each occasion - they now remember who... More

Recently we had our fourth stay at the Newmarket Gardens Caravan Park. We have never before seen the park so untidy. The grass needed trimming, the roadways in the park needed sweeping, garbage bins were emptied irregularly, amenities blocks were OK but the park was generally rather untidy. Forget WiFi you have to have a magic wand to make it... More

The campsite is well located (about 10 minutes by bus from Brisbane's center). Clean amenities, little kitchen, fridge at your disposal. We saw a possum next to our van at night. 42$ for a powered site with a van and two people, wifi included for two devices.

JUST GO ANYWHERE ELSE. All the bad reviews are true, I wish we read them before! They made us pay 40$ for the unpowered site. Since we wanted to save money we didn't ask how much was the powered one because usually is more expensive. AFTER we paid the young lady at the front (lazy & rude) told us the... More

We were expected to put our tent up on what I would describe as a sandpit full of stones, I wasnt happy with this so went back to ask for a grass site. I was told the only sites they had was a powered site so we would have to pay even more money!! We did and the site was... More
