This grand old dame of the River has so much going for her - location, looks, friendly, staff....but her food is letting her down. Its really quite hard to get anything other than a fairly mediocre food. I am desperate for her to haul up her bootstraps - as my local I want to be there regularly but the food... More

I am still stewing over the towing away of my vehicle from the Regatta Hotel carpark in the early hours of Sunday morning a week ago. After attending the ANZAC Dawn Service in Perth on Saturday Morning I could not believe that 100 years down the track we have to stoop so low to control carpark usage. There are four... More

Situated close to Brisbane River. Drinks reasonable priced, decor interesting, and has lots of history. Take a walk inside the pub and check out its history. Went on a Sunday and they had a good band playing but not so loud that you couldn't talk to your neighbors. Something to do in Brissie.

Had a client dinner at this hotel which has been beautifully renovated! Met the metre de Michael who is a famous restauranteur in Brisbane! We walked into the dining area and saw the meat hanging in a dry room! Service great, food amazing ambiance fantastic!

Beautiful building, friendly staff, but the fish and chips we ordered was very ordinary. Dry overlooked fish, French fries and a small amount of salad of lettuce tomato and grated carrot. Nothing special about the dish at all. Pity

Service was very slow. We ordered wine to have with our meal. The wine came out after we finished our meals, don't you just hate that? Ordered the risotto. 2 spoonfuls and it was gone. Left the restaurant hungry and went for a meal somewhere else, something I've never done before. The others had steak and it was fine, nothing... More

We called in to the Regatta hotel on the way to catch the Red Bus tour, and I was so impressed, I knew I would have to go back again. We called in after our wonderful bus trip, and it was the usual Friday night, after work beautiful young people having a lovely time (we are 68 year old pensioners)... More

We were upstairs and we had the deck to ourselves, with a view over the river, as well as a private bar inside. We hired our own DJ and had some balloons delivered - a memorable evening for my son and his friends.

What a fantastic space for a wine and nibbles after work. I loved the daybeds that we all lounged on and the trio of chips was a great treat (pumpkin, wedges and french fries). Great wine selection too. The bar we went to was outdoors next to the Boatshed signature restaurant (which was a bit too pricy for us). Great... More

The bar was great and we should have stayed there and had pizzas as they looked spectacular. The Boatshed food was over priced, very little in terms of the extras and so called share plates and our steaks weren't cooked to our specifications. Won't be going back to the Boatshed anytime soon.
