I stayed at the Edmonstone motel last September and found it to be friendly service, clean and very tidy that I am coming back to stay again next week. Close to shops and south bank markets and water cab. I stayed there solo as I had family that live 10 minuets away from South bank so the closeness was good.

The location great, within walking distance of the convention center. The room was clean but very, very small! Maybe because I stayed in a twin share room. Also, the place is not very inviting. With the brick walls, and monotone color scheme it felt more like I was staying in an institution (hospital or dorm room) than a motel. No... More

We stayed for four nights and the best asset is the location to the Exhibition Centre and Southbank. It is only a motel but the room was tiny and the noise from the street was quite loud at times. We would stay there again but only for one or two nights, but would probably try one of the nearby apartment... More

My sister and I drove up from Sydney and this was our favourite motel during our trip! We parked in the basement carpark and we did have a hard time lugging our suitcase up the stairs to our third floor room, but what can we say - it's a motel not a hotel so you get what you pay for.... More

We stayed two nights here on landing in Australia. I loved the 3 windows and sliding glass doors to a wee patio; they provided nice air and light in a modest sized room. There is a beautiful large patio downstairs with a pool and covered area with BBQ; it was too rainy for us to use on this trip, maybe... More

I have stayed here twice in the last few months. The rooms are clean, comfortable and some are rather cosy in terms of size, however this is a motel, not a holiday resort and therefore is not catering for people wanting to spend a great deal of time in their room. There is undercover parking at no extra charge, and... More

Older hotel that also seemed to be rented out to semi-permanent residents. The lady who owns/runs the hotel was very nice and helpful. The rooms are small and wifi mainly worked in the small lobby. It was a convenient location for us and we spent 3 nights there.

We have stayed at the Edmondstone Motel many times over the last 10 years or so. We were last there in December 2011. At $119.00 per night (Wednesday) it is getting expensive. The rooms are smallish, bathrooms very small with a ridiculous, inconvenient hand basin that you cannot lean over to use or you'd bump your head on the wall... More

We recently spent 2 nights at the Edmondstone and enjoyed our stay. It is a well-priced, conveniently located motel with all of the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We also had a small problem with our air conditioning on the first night and since they were full for the night, we were given a... More

We booked this motel online and were very happy with our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. They quickly resolved a small problem with our aircon. The rooms were small but we expected this. The room was very clean and comfortable. The motel is a pleasant short walk to the South Bank and is handy to lots of great... More
