This is not a good hostel. It is not a clean hostel. The people working at the desk are not knowledgeable, and barely friendly. The bathrooms were somewhat clean, but so old and decayed, I was still scared to touch anything. The locations is great, you're nearby everything in the city. We stayed in a 4 bed dorm, and i was mildly impressed with the standard of the rooms. The backpackers bar is great, well worth going to...hic! more

Location, location, location! The Palace is near everything. The rooms were clean and the facilities enough to keep me happy. we stayed in the second palace backpackers down the road from the main one- what a dump! there were cochroaches in the disgusting kitchen and the room was like a prison cell! and like many others have said the staff were unhelpful! stay at tinbillys near the transit center!! more
