We booked here last minute as the normal place I stay in was fully booked. When we arrived it looked nice from the outside and the staff were very friendly. There's a good atmosphere outside in the evenings and there's activities on each evening and the drink prices weren't too bad. There was also street parking, which was free between... More

We had booked at another backpackers in Brisbane on our roadtrip, and on arrival there could not stay due to the horrible conditions. We rang Brisbane backpackers, and they got us a room in 5 mins, it was only us in there as well. When we arrived, we were relieved to see smiling faces & no blood in the entrance... More

Nice and clean, cleaners came in every morning (abit too early) friendly and helpful staff. Free tea/coffee/water/sun cream. A short walk to the CBD they do provide a free bus there every hour. Great communal areas with bar/pool table/jacuzzi/swimming pool/tennis court. Cooking facilities where rather clean due to the system they use there to get cutlery. Free bus at 11pm... More

Stayed here for the last few nights, yes a few things are outdated and the kitchen is a mess often (usually other guests faults not staff) the atmosphere and people made it a great stay. Staff could be more friendly at times but most were always free to help and really kind! Coming back soon

We went to this hostel because we needed a hostel close to work and there were deals such as buy 7 nights get one free. (Sometimes when we asked to extend our stays, they would charge us more than the website says. They would want $34 for a night but we ended up paying $19 and without them questioning us... More

Booked in on the 18th June 2014, it's now the 18th Aug and it's my second home. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and I will be back again next week for a few days. It's an amazing place for working holiday visa workers and long timers but also for a few days to meet amazing people. Every time... More

I have been travelling for over year, spanning many different countries and a few continents and this is definitely one of my favourites! Great and friendly staff, very clean and well kept, great location (West End is the best area in Brisbane and still very central) the fantastic pool and deck and the bar keeps a really fun atmosphere! There... More

20 Minutes Wifi for 2$? Big Locker for 6$/24 hours? Medium Locker for 3,50$/24 hours? Who cares about the pool? Nobody because I am sitting in the lobby right now where, btw I can not see any power plugs to charge my notebook, and nobody is using the pool. My room is very dark, very small and smelled strange when... More

We stayed here on a recent trip to Brisbane, as our 'normal' place was booked out :-( Pro's: - Great location: close to West End shops and Restaurants. - Street noise was minimal. - Helpful, friendly staff. - HUGE room for two people!! Have paid much more for much less. Con's: - No parking, even though we were told there... More
