Not a bad Hostel in a bit of a dull City. It has a good rooftop pool and good sized kitchen, however I did struggle to put my food in the fridge which wasn't much (Milk, Juice & Veg), but did find room ok in the lockable cupboards for them rest of my dry food. It is also in close... More

The hostel is very clean. In the big kitchen and dining room its easy to meet new people. The view from the roof-deck is amazing. Especially in the evening. Everything was fine with me in this hostel besides the snoring youg lady in my room! ;)

Our room and bathroom was very clean and tidy. We were able to get a private room and bathroom for a reasonable price. Lots of activities going on if we were to stay longer. Good location. Not far from the bus station and downtown core. The bar had a cool atmosphere and delicious food. Cool rooftop kitchen and hangout.

First stay in a backpackers. Booked a private room for a Saturday night. Was surprised by how clean it was. Got a bit noisy at night, but it was quite after 11pm. Walking distance from Suncorp Stadium and Caxton Street. Would definitely visit again.

Stayed here last summer (2013), nice spot just outside of town, ideal for the Reds ground. We actually stayed twice, the first time in a disabled room which whilst it had all of the facilities we needed the room was pretty grim other than that - it was completely internal so no windows and just a small bit if natural... We stayed here on the last night of our month long honeymoon in Australia. The bus stop is just down over the hill and will take you anywhere in Brisbane from there. The staff were helpful and there was a bar and restaurant on site. Modern rooms very clean. a little more expensive than most of the hostels we stayed... More

Stayed here for three nights in March with two friends in a six bed dorm. The room was fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable, the en-suite was a nice touch too. The lockers are large, handy for those with plenty of luggage. In general, the hostel seems relatively modern and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Not far from... More

New hostel, but beware in case you get put in the old part of the building above the bar. WiFi did not work here, and the shared bathroom was frankly disgusting. Hair and paper towels all over the floor, always smelly and only one shower really works. New building fine, nice big clean kitchen but no real communal space apart... More

Hi Gwen, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We take all customer feedback very seriously and appreciate you taking the time to write to us. I am of course disappointed to hear of your experience while staying at Brisbane City YHA. As facilities are shared in backpacker accommodation, it is the responsibility of all guests to... More

Great hostel to start off in. Just moved to Brisbane and the YHA was a great starting point, great facilities and meet lots of cool people. The guys on the desk are helpful and knowledgeable. The bar is a great asset and they do some good deals which vary every day. Not many taxi drivers seem to know where it... More
