I really didn't enjoy my stay here, the rooms are tiiiiny and we had basically no window because the air con takes up the space! If you were coming to Brisbane for one night to get really drunk then maybe I'd stay here but if you are sober I'd steer clear! I definitely would not come back here it was... More

Stayed here for one night after arriving back in Australia and having to go back to the airport again the next morning. It is within walking distance of Roma St station should you wish to catch the train to the airport. Rooms are pretty small but economical, so if you are not in them for a long time, it is... More

I had to travel to Brisbane for three days of training before moving into our Sunshine Coast office. While the Explorers Inn, is certainly not something I would recommend for a week long leisure visit, it is perfectly fine for a few nights. This option also beat my alternative of catching the train from Nambour each day. It's close proximity... More

This hotel was in easy walking distance from the coach station on Roma street. Also it was just around the corner from the city centre of Brisbane. Check in was fairly smooth, staff seemed really friendly. Once we walked into the room, I noticed how small the room was! There wasn't much room around the bed to walk. Luckily my... More

The hotel was easy to find & very central in location: for both the transit centre & the shopping centres etc. The staff were polite. The rooms are very small, as other reviews state - but just expect that when you book; the prices are low. But yes very small and lacking space so a great place for a short... More

Stayed at Explorers Inn when we went to the Ekka. The room is smaller than we expected but that didn't matter as we would be out all day. We were welcomed by the man sitting at the desk downstairs and the price is really good if you're on a budget. The hotel is close to the Cbd and Roma Street... More

The accommodation is a fantastic arrangement for the budget one spends in a busy Brisbane City. The Explorer Inn is located in the CBD area, closer to the Roma street and Central Railway station, closer to all the eateries and King George bus terminus, can be reachable by airport shuttle (AUD 20) and a cab (AUD 50). The Inn has... More

I paid just $89 for an overnight stay prior to catching a train early next morning. Location is very close to Roma Street Station ($6 taxi or 10 minute walk.) The rooms are tiny and I would probably choose another hotel for more than one night. However, my room was clean and tidy with double bed, wardrobe, mini fridge, desk,... More

Clean and quiet, away from the main parts of the city. Still close enough to transport and shops. Room was small but only staying one night so it didn't really matter. Price was low and acceptable, booking was essential for budget.
