Problems that we found: - No glass in bedroom window, instead there was cardboard in it's place. - Due to no functioning windows there was no air coming through. Which felt like we were sleeping in an airless box. - Very dark room. It was difficult to find the light-switch. - No shower fan in bathroom to suck out steam.... More

Booked at explorers inn to spend some days in brisbane during our holiday in australia. Unfortunately it was our worst experience in Australia. The room that we got was tiny, smelling badly, moisty and dark. The window was probably going to a small yard but we could not open the windows. We found small pieces of fungus of the worlds... I had a nice little stay here on the lead up to Christmas. The hotel is pretty average, the lady receptionist was a bit moody. The room was tiny but quite pleasant. Good location, me and my partner walked everywhere from here so pretty good! Train station near by

We just stayed for one night and hurried to the airport the next morning. It is REALLY SMALL! Cannot even breath when staying in the bathroom! We had three people and the room is definitely too small for us. Closed to queen st mall which is the advantage. Considering the price and we only need a spot to sleep, this... More

I really didn't enjoy my stay here, the rooms are tiiiiny and we had basically no window because the air con takes up the space! If you were coming to Brisbane for one night to get really drunk then maybe I'd stay here but if you are sober I'd steer clear! I definitely would not come back here it was... More

Stayed here for one night after arriving back in Australia and having to go back to the airport again the next morning. It is within walking distance of Roma St station should you wish to catch the train to the airport. Rooms are pretty small but economical, so if you are not in them for a long time, it is... More

I had to travel to Brisbane for three days of training before moving into our Sunshine Coast office. While the Explorers Inn, is certainly not something I would recommend for a week long leisure visit, it is perfectly fine for a few nights. This option also beat my alternative of catching the train from Nambour each day. It's close proximity... More

This hotel was in easy walking distance from the coach station on Roma street. Also it was just around the corner from the city centre of Brisbane. Check in was fairly smooth, staff seemed really friendly. Once we walked into the room, I noticed how small the room was! There wasn't much room around the bed to walk. Luckily my... More
