I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over a weekend at the end of February after booking at the last minute via Wotif - bargain rate of A$80 per night. The hotel was in a good location, minutes walk to Queen St Mall and the Transit Centre. The room, on eight floor, was very small and basic, but clean... more

I was flying into Brisbane from Singapore and called them to say I'd be arriving early in the morning and would like to have our room ready early. When we arrived the guy at the front desk told us check-in time is 2pm onwards so we can go into our room after 2pm, and told us we could leave our... more

I found the hotel to be an okay place. The room was very small but it was clean. Unfortunately they didn't have a twin bed room so another bed had to be brought in.. We were running out of accommodation options at 1am in the morning so we had to pay $155 and another $15 to park the car. It... more

Stayed in the George William hotel in Jan only innately for 3 nights but when arrived and found it to be very close to CBD and other shops and also the Brisbane Transit Centre we decided to stay for the week. The room was very clean even tho it was a bit small we managed. The hotel staff were helpful.... more

I recently stayed here as I could not move in to my apartment when I arrived in Brisbane. I paid 120 dollars australian per night for a queen room. All in all , it is a budget hotel which is centrally located on George Street, quite close to Queen Street Mall and all the shops and restaurants. Also not far... more

My partner and I stayed at this hotel on 13th July - Black Friday it was! We fully expected the room to be what it was for the price - it was clean and acceptable. But! after coming back late from dinner we found the room was very cold - no heating and with cool air being pumped in to... more

I found the hotel to be an okay place. The room was small but it was clean. My main complaint was the fact that it was very loud in terms of hall noise. You could hear slamming at all times of the night. I guess that is standard in a hotel however. I thought the price was a little expensive... more

The hotel is very close to the train station, in a slightly rundown area, but it's close to the Queen Street mall. The place was clean, but the room was TINY, could barely fit 2 adults and our luggage in. The front desk staff was not very knowledgeable about Brisbane and the gym was below average (by American standards). The... more

My partner and I stayed at george williams when we were in Brisbane for a wedding. We wanted to stay at a budget hotel in the city, and this hotel fits the bill. However bare in mind being a more budget friendly hotel, you definatley get what you pay for. We hated this hotel, but others who are just after... more
