We booked this hotel for one night, purely on the basis it advertised an airport shuttle. We arrived after a long international flight to a text advertising the airport shuttle only runs FROM the hotel to the airport, not the other way. In the morning we called reception to book the shuttle to the airport, Only to be told it... More

If you want a hotel room reasonably close to the airport for $125 per night then this is what you get. A semi refurbished 1970's block with a 1970's elevator and some good old 1970's decor. OK for one night.

Very tired place. Hadn't changed in 30 years...maybe new taps. Close to airport and Hamilton Pub was reason for stay here. Staff member on duty not very helpful. After staying in similar places in USA for approx $32 per night (including light breakfast) not value for money.

We arrived at approx 11am and were able to check into the motel early. The motel offers secured parking from 7pm to 7am. Although the room was a basic motel room, it was clean and comfortable. After researching nearby hotel accommodation, this motel offered the best value for money for a nights stay in this location. We were able to... More

My husband and I have stayed at the Hamilton Motor Inn several times. We were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade when we checked in and were lucky enough to get a room at the back of the hotel. The rooms do need a bit of updating but the beds are very comfortable, the linen clean and the showers have... More

The location is very close to the City Cats which ply along the river to and from the city and beyond. No need for uncomfortable buses or expensive parking. There is a 7/11 one block away and local restaurants in the next street (Racecourse Road).

For the price, it is adequate. The place would be at least forty years old, and it shows. The walls are cracked ( but repaired) as are the tiles in the bathroom. The double bed is quite hard and the noise from the road is still quite audible even though I am on the fourth floor. It is however, well... More

We had a short notice requirement for 2 Kiwi couples in Brisbane for 2 nights, preferably near the airport. Picked at random, the big boys were either full, expensive or too far away. The Hamilton wasn't rated very high but we thought we'd give it a go based on location and price. What we found was a very friendly and... More
