I stayed here August 2008. The rooms themselves have recently been upgraded and were very comfortable. Overall I was very happy with the room and with the staff. The lobby looked positively third world but after the renovation is finished (was going on while I was there) it should look great. The location at the top of the city is... more

I have stayed at this hotel some 6 or 7 times over the past 3 months whilst travelling on business for 4 days at a time. As others have noted, the hotel is currently being fully re-furbished so there is a substantial amount of works being undertaken but it does not effect your stay. The re-furb is due to be... more

The hotel is still being renovated and the entrance was difficult to find., but once inside the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a room facing the city, and overlooking the empty pool that was being renovated - it was somewhat noisy in the afternoon. The room was on the small side and had a very noisy... more

We stayed there for three nights from 13/7/08. As previously mentioned it is being refurbished. The rooms were finished and only the public spaces were still being done. The rooms were of a good size and very well equipped. Good beds and everything worked. Would be good for any one doing business. We had parking thrown in and breakfast on... more

I booked this hotel through Wotif and got a great bargain with breakfast for 2 thrown in. The hotel is currently ungoing a major revamp. My husband and I stayed in a newly redecorated room and it had everything we needed... LCD television, mini bar, big bathroom, coffee and tea making facilities and an extremely comfortable bed. The reception staff... more

I recently stayed at the Terraces on Wickham for an overnight stay between flights. The hotel was selected by my travel agent after I instructed her to book a hotel near the CBD. While not right in the CBD, this hotel is a short walk to the centre of Brisbane. The walk to town is largely downhill from the hotel.... more

I have stayed here on 2 occasions and really enjoyed the peace it offers. There is a lovely view of the Roma gardens which are well worth a visit. It is in close proximity to the Mall, although it is quite a steep walk back. I would stay here on any other visit to Brisbane. A very nice restuarant with... more

The other reviews aptly describe the very poor quality of the older rooms (some floors have been renovated now). These old rooms should not be used in their current state, as they reflect badly on the Accor brand, and paying over $100/night is disgraceful. The only question I have is how can they allow things to get so bad before... more

Do not believe for a minute, what you see on the website! Staying at Terraces on Wickham has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite its location (if you treasure convenience, sleep at the bus stop), everything about it is dreary and absolutely horrible. Asthmatics- be wary: I had to check into the hospital on my third night because the... more

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in July this year. The hotel was reasonably priced for a 3 star and served the purpose well. The foyer and bar/restaurant area are very misleading, as our first impressions were the hotel was going to be quite trendy and modern. This we later found to be the case, however this comes... more
