I have read some bad reviews on this hotel but I don't know why. We stayed 4 nights, room was clean and well serviced, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was simple but good. The hotel is a little dated but reasonably priced and close to most sights. Parking at $9.00 a day was reasonable for inner city parking.

Friendly staff and great location easy walking distance to Queen St mall and Central Station. Close to shops and restaurants and located away from the busy streets. Hotel rooms very old and a bit rough. Try another room type for a better quality room.

I stayed at a room named Tower Double on the 7th floor for three nights. The view from the room was fantastic with a small balcony, and the room was spacious, sufficiently clean and quiet, although I found out pieces of hairs on the floor next to the bathtub, which was assumed to be the previous gutest's. The room also provided... More

Very close to central station and walking distance to downtown Brisbane. The staff are helpful and not overbearing. Swimming Pool is an extra.. even in Queensland's winter. although not heated as outdoor. Other reviewers state meals excellent. however I found just suitable and minimal places nearby for same ( some blocks walk otherwise although convenience shop is nearby), Booking agents... More

I stayed here for one night in a studio room with a queen size bed. Having stayed in City hotels throughout the world I would have to say this is one of the best value places I have stayed. It was modern, clean and very spacious and the service was very good. The hotel has car parking and is a... More

I would not recommend this place to any one at all, when you go in it is lovely you go to the lifts fantastic, you think wow this is going to be good, you get out of the lift and think OH that is a little bit of a let down maybe the rooms will be great. they don't tell... More

Before going to this hotel i read the review from tripadvisor. &my expectation was so low after seeing the photos of the room. But out of my expectation, it turns out the hotel was good especially the view from the room and the location of the hotel.

This hotel has a great location and the facade/reception area is deceptively good. Staff are patient but have frustrating things to deal with. Upon checking in the receptionist had trouble with the credit card facilities resulting in two separate deposits being taken from my card. The hotel itself showed promise from the entrance but upon getting to my level I... More

The best thing about this place is its location. We stayed three nights. The first night we had a balcony room and it seemed OK, but the room was so warm as to be uncomfortable. The heat had been set to 28 degrees. We tried to change the setting on the split system to cool the room to no avail.... More

This hotel has been beautifully renovated since we stayed there about two years ago. Only five minutes walk to the city centre (a little steep on the way back). An excellent location for visiting medical specialists in Wickham Terrace (as we needed). The staff on all shifts were most helpful. Our room on the 9th floor was very spacious and... More
