I stayed at the Sofitel Brisbane for a conference in April and generally enjoyed a very comfortable and modern hotel. The rooms on the club level are a reasonable size and the beds are extremely comfortable and make for a great nights sleep away from home. The staff of the club are excellent and deserve a special mention for their... more

Pros: - The bedroom and bathroom have been recently refurbished and finished to a good standard in a contemporary style (as are most of the communal areas). The outside of the hotel clearly hasn't been renovated and looks very shabby however. - The hotel location is ideal for those travelling to/from the airport, as the hotel adjoins the main station.... more

We paid a very steep rate for what turned out to be a very average hotel experience. We chose to pay a hefty upgrade ($120 per night) for the Club Floor - based on our experiences in both Sydney and Melbourne Clubs. We were very disappointed as the standard cannot even be compared! Probably if you haven't been to another... more

Spent the Queens Birthday Longweekend in Brisbane. Had the whole family come and visit. The hotel is conveniently located off Anzac Sq close to the Queen St Mall strip. Hotel facilties are not the best, but ok. The gym is fine until there's more than 10 people there, and then it will look very cramped. The pool is not great,... more

We have stayed at the Sofitel in Brisbane a few times and it is a very comfortable hotel with a nice feel. Would recommend upgrading to Club Level for some special extras. One of Brisbane's best hotels and good for a special occasion. more

I stayed at the Sofitel with friends for a hens night and it was fantastic. The glass elevators were really impressive , although a little frightening for one of my friends as you can see out as you soar upwards. We stayed on a really high floor and didnt even have to request it with a really nice view. Usually... more

Sofitel exudes French class. Situated bang in the center of Brisbane's central business district. Minutes to anywhere. Great connections. Has escalators leading to subway transport right in the basement of hotel. High-rise building. Tastefully appointed rooms. Although rooms could be larger. Best value is free wi-fi internet! There could be more front desk staff and/or concierge staff. Early morning check-outs... more

We thought we would splurge and spend a bit to stay here. Upon arrival the whole place smelt bad and that just got worse. They have no open windows throughout the entire building, no balconies or windows with fresh air anywhere the whole place is sealed. The air in the rooms were stale and smelt of old cigarette smoke and the... more
