Room was OLD and DISGUSTING, smells like bleach and mould. Cabinets in bathroom are rotton, aircon vents are full of mould and dust! Very unhealthy place to stay.. I FELT SOMETHING CRAWL OVER ME DURING THE NIGHT! more

Came to Brisbane for a soccer match so had to be near Suncorp Stadium. We booked for 3 nights and requested a nice apartment after reading the reviews, We got what we asked for. It was modern, clean, with washer and dryer and had a balcony. The stadium was a 10min walk and 5 mins into town centre. Plenty of... more

We booked the seven day special room rate which was $99.00 per night. We were delighted when we arrived . The Reception staff were pleasant and helpful and the room, on the 16th floor was modern, light and airey. Our daughter slept on a rollout bed in the lounge which was comfortable. Our bed was also comfortable and the bedroom... more

..I have to agree with the scabbey review..booked on wotif as I needed a last minute place as looking for somewhere to live in Brisbane but taking longer than expected - do not be fooled by their website..apartments rather smelly/reception and hallways smelly and dated...was told that each apartment is individually owned and furnished by the owners after I said... more

First room was dark and had an overpowering smell of bleach. There was someone elses wet washing in the washer, the bathroom bin hadnt been emptied. The cups were dirty and the apartment was generally grubby. I requested a change of room having read on trip advisor some rooms were better quality than others. Friendly french lady on reception apologised... more

Booked using Wotif. I chose this place as the location suited me as I was in Brisbane for work and it was the best priced apartment around. I should have taken other travellers' advice and asked for a good quality room. I was on the 5th floor and it was an old apartment with rust around the doorways and dripping... more

Here's the insider's secret! Each apartmetn is totally different, maintained by its owner, so you can get very different experiences depending on which unit you get... some are VERY basic, some very luxurious. The receptionist told me that if you ask for the prettiest/ nicest/ best unit they have, and tell them you're aware of this unevenness of quality, you... more

Hotel okay, good location for what we needed. One problem though with the room! Booked for 3 adults therefor we needed to use the sofa bed. After discovering the sofa bed was not made - we had to go down to reception and request linen? We were given 1 sheet and a quilt. No pillow. Staff were friendly and facilities... more

The Abbey is in a great location - just opposite one of the main stations (Roma St), which is on the airport line. The apartments are big and clean - great value for money. I'm surprised they are so incredibly cheap. Not luxurious obviously but much more than you expect for the price. The only negative thing I have to... more
