We had had a pretty rough time as my husband battled cancer so it was decided we would have a family night away in the city. We were able to secure a night at the Royal in Brisbane for a very reasonable price. The room was great with a view over the Brisbane Botanical gardens. Our 7 year old daughter... More

My husband and I stayed one night and were very impressed by the staff here - all were friendly and attentive, but in a very natural way (you can tell when people are being 'fake nice'). Our room was attractively furnished, and the view over the gardens was pretty. Our package with free wifi, free parking and breakfast included was... More

Found it very nice to overlook bicentenial gardens instead of other buildings Staff upon arrival were very personable, friendly also more then happy to assist in anyway possible We found the position very good also, as we visited regional flavours expo in Southbank a short 15 min stroll though the gardens also... We stayed at the Royal on the Park for one night on our return from north queensland. I chose the hotel specifically for it's pricing and location (reasonable CBD price and right next to the Botanic Gardens). We were pleasantly surprised. The service from all staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. A beautifully presented... More

This is the first hotel of the many we have stayed in over the years where you are a guest not a room number. On arrival the staff met us almost before we pulled up and collected our luggage. Check in was a breeze with very friendly staff and our luggage almost beat us to our room. The room was... More

First reaction when arrived, was not quite what photos showed it to be, booked on line and no one assisted when we arrived despite bell boy being in the foyer watching, but that was fine. Reception were very pleasant and we checked in with out any problems. Foyer is small and a little dated but the adjoining bar and restaurant... More

Only here for a couple of days and experienced great service at the front desk and in the bar. The room standard and cleanliness, staff friendly and general atmosphere was one of the best we had on our holiday in Australia. Thanks to all.

I've stayed here twice this year and both times (for no apparent reason), my travelling partners and I have been upgraded to a "park view" room (a very pleasant surprise and very much appreciated!). The rooms themselves are beautiful and well equipped, with extremely comfortable beds and plenty of space. Every single staff member encountered (restaurant staff, room service, reception,... More

We had two rooms next to each other as we travelled with teenage children. Plus number one, as some hotels place you on other floors at times. The rooms are very nicely appointed rather than bland and boring. Beds are very comfortable, great TV and movie choices, good wardrobe space, desk etc for working people, only down (sort of) is... I paid extra to have the Botanic Park view at the hotel, only to arrive at 11 pm for check-in to find that noisy road works were taking place right in front of the hotel, throughout the night, where our room overlooked. As it was late in the night, people checking in earlier had moved to rooms away from the... More

Dear ADoyle150 I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback after your recent stay. I apologise for the way that the Night Manager handled your enquiry for compensation and I agree that this could have been done better. Unfortunately we do receive late notice of after hours road works that we can do nothing about except how we... More
