Attended for a conference which was paid for in advance (over 2 grand). Unfortunately forgot to bring my wallet (I live nearby so didn't think I'd need it) and was unable to pay for the days parking ($22). Staff would not accept offer to get my wife to pay over the phone, bank account transfer or for me to pay... More

The location is great, being right next to the botanic gardens and being 10 mins from the CBD. The hotel was refurbished a couple of years ago, so most of the public areas and the room were in good order. During our visit one of the lifts was out of action so it sometimes took a while for it to... More

I've stayed here a few times on business. The rooms are OK, with a chaise long rather than an armchair. But what isn't great is the fact that the rooms don't carry any snacks except chips and chocolate. The price for room service meals was ridiculous. I ordered a seafood bouillabaisse ($39) and was advised to get a vege side... More

My worry of it being "too good to be true" was soon put to rest. What a lovely hotel, such charm and an elegant ambience and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in on holidays (and that is quite a few). Room was big and tastefully decorated and very clean, bathroom well stocked as was the mini bar!.... More

A number of us stayed here for a school reunion, a well behaved bunch I hasten to add. We all booked separately but one of our number spoke to the hotel and arranged for us all to be on one floor, which the hotel did, and that in itself impressed me. I remember this hotel as the old Parkroyal and... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. I found this place really great value for money, really comfortable rooms, with a bit of space to relax and having a desk with everything you need was great for business. It is directly opposite the Botanical Gardens, close to the river and excellent places to walk. It is within 10 minutes... More

Chose to stay here again as the value, standard and location are all excellent. Front desk was the let down on this visit. Not very welcoming despite recognising I guess from the computer that we were return guests. No welcome back just, the elevators are over there they havn't moved. Maybe his attempt at humour I guess. We were checking... More

My partner and I have stayed at the Royal on the Park many many times. We just love it there. There are several reasons that we always stay at this hotel when we are staying in Brisbane. The first and one of the most important reasons is the old fashioned service that they always give us, which we both value... More

Royal on the Park was our daughter's choice of wedding accommodation and it sufficed perfectly. Accolades to all staff members we encountered. Our small family group experienced dinner, breakfast, room menu and of course celebratory drinks in the lounge which all rated highly in everyones opinion. The Getaway Package was a sensible and value packed choice for a two night... More

The hotel is well situated for access to the city and walks in the Botanical Gardens across the road. Really comfortable beds and a great variety at the buffet breakfast. There is no,traffic noise due to double glazed windows. The staff are very friendly and obliging, especially the chamber maids and porter who make you feel like they are willing hosts.... More
