The hotel was in a great location! Although not easy to see the entrance and not really signed well. Service was great! When stepping out of the lift and entering the room there was a real musty smell. The bathroom door made an enormous screaching sound when opening or closing which woke everyone when used in the middle of the... More

Royal Albert isn't cheap but so roomy and a great location. Perfect for families as everything is so close - shops, parks, and restaurants. Brisbane's downtown is also much nicer than it used to be, with lots of things open at night and a pretty peaceful vibe. The rooms aren't super luxe or trendy but very comfortable and with plenty... In the heart of the CBD, Awesomely spacious quiet room with cooking facilities. I was on the 3rd floor and could not hear street noise. Ideal for longer stays. Security card needed to enter after 8pm and to use elevators, Secure parking at a reasonable rate. Good Cafe at the front entrance. The only negative comments I have are that... More

This is a heritage hotel which has good sized rooms and they are renovating the bathrooms to a very good standard. The room my friend and I shared was a large room with a self catering kitchenette, but we chose to dine in some of the many really good restaurants which are very close. The room was comfortable, but it... More

The staff was very welcoming, and the location is excellent especially if you enjoy walking like we do. It is centrally located so easy access to the pier or the south side to ride the Ferris Wheel. The parking is onsite and convenient and reasonably priced for downtown area. They upgraded our room to a two room suite which was... More

Only stayed for one night. First appearance great. We arrived late after a long travel feeling very tired ready for good night sleep. Unfortunately the air conditioning was extremely loud and the room was wrap around window to the city so was quite noisy. Curtains were not black out so room was very light. If you don't really want a... More

Best hotel value for money, convenience, enormous size rooms, modern bathrooms, cooking facilities and laundry. Fantastic value for money and convenience. Central Brisbane location. Car-parking also available. Helpful and friendly staff. Great restaurants attached to hotel as well as very short walk away. Myer Centre over the road for shopping convenience. Definitely would stay again. Book direct with hotel and... More

We always stay at the Royal Albert when we come to Brisbane - easy for the shopping, restaurants and catching up with family. Great service and lovely rooms - old fashioned and charming. Restaurant on the doorstep serves great food.

I am a frequent business traveller who tries to seek the best accomodation with value for money within the CBD areas. This is an excellent location in the CBD area. Ideal for business use or leisure as there are many shopping facilitiues very close. Everything a traveller requires.

I am simply a broken record about this hotel. It is always my first choice when staying in Brisbane. It is simply charming, the staff are always efficient and pleasant. The rooms are large and well appointed. The bathroom was showing a little wear but hey its an old hotel. its location is perfect, walking distance to Queen St, taxi... More

Dear Vicky Thank you for such a great review from such a seasoned traveller! I am delighted to announce that we are currently upgrading our bathrooms (in the Deluxe Hotel rooms and Suites at this stage) and are very excited by the result. We look forward to welcoming you to a refurbished room next time you come down the mountain.... More
