This wonderful hotel is a surprise in the centre of the city. Excellent facilities, clean, comfortable. All the modern facilities of a new hotel but with a very distinctive olde world style. No noise at all, handy to all the shops, easy walk to the theatre and Southbank parklands. I would recommend this hotel as a perfect city stay.

Beautiful building and furnishings, great size room, very clean and neat. Great helpful, friendly staff. Central location. Valet parking for a great price. 24hr reception. Relaxing classy atmosphere. Comfy bedding.

i have walked past this hotel many times over the years and always though it looked a bit dodgy. Old, moldy, communal bathrooms... that sort of hotel. Bit like out of the Blues Brothers. I was looking online for a two bedroom hotel and only looked at this one out of curiosity. I am glad I did as this is... More

So classic and old school - marvellous. Great spot - right opposite the Myer Centre. Decor is gorgeously vintage. We never heard any noise, even though it's situated right in the middle of the town. Taxi rank is opposite the front door. They are upgrading the bathrooms at the moment. They even have current glossy magazines on each floor outside... More

My teenage daughter and I stayed here for the 1st time just recently. We both loved the Classic Style, its central location ... and how incredibly quiet it was - so quiet that we both kept on sleeping in! We were told that the bathrooms were in the process of being updated (not a bad idea) .. but hopefully they'll... More

This charming hotel is in the most perfect Brisbane location. The rooms are beautifully presented with character AND comfort which can be hard to find in many cases. Fabulous dining, bars, shopping, public transport close by.

Have stayed here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. The decor is wonderful and makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Even though you are in the heart of the city there is very little noise. With plenty of room to spread out and a comfy bed you... More

We stayed 2 nights with our 2 kids 5 & 3. We chose the sub penthouse as we had stayed in one once before and it gave the kids their own room. Room 804 was amazing!! Large beautiful apartment with all mod cons. Incredible city centre location - we walked to everything - South bank, botanic gardens and straight on... More

The hotel is in a convenient city-centre location. The room - on the 1st floor I think (we were there in August this year) - was big, well-equipped and quite quiet. As others have said, the furnishings were a bit worn, but that wasn't a serious issue. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the lack of... More

Really enjoyed this classic style of apartments. Beautiful. Large rooms, helpful staff, extra services available and excellent position for shopping, cafés n restaurants in the city (no traffic noise though). Definitely recommend staying here.
