Looking for a one night stay in Brisbane, we found the Royal Albert Hotel just what we needed. Close to the shops and with a great restaurant downstairs, after a day of exploring Brisbane we returned to our room which was clean, comfortable and not the usual run of the mill hotel rooms you come to expect. Pleasantly surprised, we... More

Great rooms and service, excellent location for shopping and plenty of eating options downstairs. Car park is only challenge to find entrance and best to ring reception when you get close by car for directions.

Great location, opposite the 'rear' entrance to the Myer centre ... walk out your front door and start shopping (or people watching, or eating). Great service, very prompt and efficient. The single bedroom suite had a huge amount of room to spread out, but could have benefited from: - some attention to kitchen resourcing (no salt/pepper, no medium/large saucepan). -... More

Rooms were clean and well appointed. Great to find accommodation in Brisbane for 4+ adults, perfect size for our needs with more then enough area to relax and dine. Handy having a kitchen. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. Terrific CBD location.

Dear Zoomzoom… Thank you for your great review. Our Sub-penthouse apartments consisting of 130 sqm of luxury are ideal for 4-5 adults or families, and are excellent value when compared to 2 Deluxe Hotel rooms. Peter Tyrer More

It has an old world charm. Location is terrific, the living area was spacious although second bedroom was a bit on the small side. Great walk along the river nearby. Plenty of restaurants close by. Lovely place to stay.

Dear Greg As we celebrated our centenary last year we are proud of our Old Worlde Elegance and charm, albeit with modern amenities. Yes our Two Bedroom Suites only have a single bed in the second bedroom. However our Sub-penthouse apartments have two full sized bedrooms with an ensuite from the main bedroom. Peter Tyrer More

This hotel is located in an ideal position in the CBD. Close to lots of shopping! Also has a great restaurant at the front door. The room was lovely and very big! Only complaint would be the shower over bath with shower curtain.

Dear Usat I am pleased you found our location to be an ideal position in the CBD for shopping. You will be interested to hear that in January we will be commencing a bathroom refurbishment during which time we will be removing most of the baths. I am sure you will like our new look! We chose this hotel because we like old buildings with a bit of history attached, also because it was right in the middle of the CBD and we wanted to experience Brisbane - it's past and present. The hotel has spacious apartment style rooms with great artwork depicting Brisbane of yesteryear. The rooms are beautifully clean with furniture and fittings... More

Dear Heather Thank you for your fabulous review. It is great to see that more and more discerning travellers are actively seeking out boutique heritage hotels which have their own unique charm. It sounds like you packed a lot into your stay here walking to the river, botanical gardens, Eagle Street Pier, and the inner city attractions. We are refurbishing... More

Television reception super and love that the one bedroom apartment has so televisions. Handy having a kitchen and laundry in the room.

We have stayed here three times now. The room is so large and comfortable and having the cooking and laundry facilities is wonderful. It is so close to everything in the city walking distance. Also the shops are right there if you want. It is very quiet at night can't hear the road at all. The detail with the furniture... More

Dear Carol Thank you for your review and for returning to our boutique hotel. When we refurbished 6 years ago we chose quality furniture sourced through Noble House that was modern but reflecting our heritage. I believe the detail with the furniture in the room is unique to Brisbane. Peter Tyrer More
