We have stayed here once before as an overnight stay traveling south and were quite happy with the Deluxe room. This time, we needed a place to stay in Brisbane for 5 days that was central to everything, comfortable, and with self catering and car parking available. We decided to choose this hotel again as it had what we were... More

A very central Hotel that has everything that you need. Well situated to restaurants, shopping and public transport. The laundry facilities are handy if you need them and the room size looks to be more then the average motel. It is lovely that they have kept the style of accommodation and not tried to modernise the hotel.

I stayed at the Royal Albert over the weekend on the recommendation of a friend who has stayed there several times. My room - a deluxe - was enormous - the size of a studio apartment. Full laundry facilities, basic kitchenette and bathroom including a tub. My friend stayed in a one bedroom suite, also enormous and well appointed. The... More

Stayed for 5 nights for work in a one bedroom apartment. Apartments have two TVs with basic pay TV channels, kitchen (with full size fridge, stove and microwave) and laundry with washer / dryer. Located right in the middle of town, secure and it has real character. I recommend.

We stayed for one night, the hotel is Old World Elegance. The location is great, close to the Myer Centre and the Queen St Mall. The magazine's in the lobby on each floor are a great idea. Staff were friendly and excellent service. Would really recommend this hotel for someone who wants alittle difference and something with style.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wished it were more. Comfortable and very nicely furnished, with everything you would need for a longer stay. Staff were very helpful, from finding a flat pillow to taking our luggage to the car for us. Very quiet after 10pm even though we were in the corner room on two street fronts with... More

This is a great place to stay. Our room was amazing, very large and quiet. Everything you want within walking distance. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It was great being in the heart of the city. We have paid twice as much for a room in the past and have been disappointed, defiantly value for money.

A lovely place right in the centre of Brisbane. Fabulous room with quality at a great price. The staff were excellent from the moment we made our booking. Myer complex and great shopping just a short stroll away. Transport at your door. We stayed in the two bedroom penthouse, a real home away from home. Will return. Thanks.

I love this place, great position, reasonable price, and a little old Brisbane charm. The rooms are large with everything you need. Taxi rank right outside the front door for you flight home and the downstairs cafe does a great breakfast.

Dear Neal I am pleased you liked our great position, reasonable price and our little bit of old Brisbane charm. As well as our great location, we believe that an increasing number of discerning travellers look for heritage boutique hotels. When we refurbished a couple of years ago, we chose furniture of a classic elegance and an innovative modern design... More

Right in the heart of the city opposite Myer centre. Huge spacious rooms 12-14 ft ceilings. Comfy beds and small but adequate kitchen facilities. Staff are excellent. We were on 2nd floor and got a bit of street noise, but not too bad. Had double glazed windows. Lovely paintings and china collection in hotel. Only drawbacks - no free wifi,... More

Dear Digiteyes Thank you for your great review. Yes all our rooms have very high ceilings but Level 2 is split level so they are 14 ft (4.27m). I am pleased you found us good value for money and appreciate your understanding that the tariffs are higher during State of Origin. Peter Tyrer More
