My husband and I stayed here last night to attend a business dinner. If you need a hotel in Brisbane CBD this would definitely be one to consider. The hotel was very centrally situated with shops, pubs, restaurants etc on the doorstep. It is an apartment hotel so the rooms have (I presume all of them) a small kitchenette and... More

Well fitted out, pleasant and quiet rooms combined with old world charm. Well stocked mini bar and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a prolonged stay in Brisbane (inclusive of laundry and kitchen). Definitely worth looking at.........

Royal Albert is right in the heart of the city yet very quiet at night . It has a calm and quality about it . Very large rooms with new bathrooms . I highly recommend it. Good breakfast dining outside main entrance .

Effectively paid $400 for a room costing $200 due to the hotels pre authorisation policy of charging guests a standard deposit fee of $200 at check in. After having believed the room was paid for during check in ($200) was told this amount was taken out of my account (pending) but i needed to pay for the room again during... More

Very spacious rooms with an old world charm. Step outside the hotel, and you are on Albert Street with access to a multitude of restaurants and facilities. Taxi rank just there and diagonally opposite is the Myer Centre with shopping, supermarket, cinemas etc. Even with a short stay It was nice to have kitchen and laundry facilities. Would certainly stay... More

Dear Crater-lakes Thank you for your excellent review. With the trend towards smaller rooms, it is great to see discerning travellers are preferring large spacious rooms in a central location and a boutique hotel experience. Peter Tyrer More

We stayed at the Royal Albert on the day before and the day after an overseas trip. The rooms are very spacious and we were in one that had a newly renovated bathroom which is beautifully appointed The undervainty sensor light is a great addition to save the 'middle of the night searching a for the light switch' that usually... Dear Vicki I hope you had a great overseas holiday and thank you for your outstanding review from such a seasoned traveller! It is fabulous to see such fantastic reviews of our new bathrooms after 6 months of hard work to completely refurbish them. I am delighted you like our under vanity sensor light. Peter Tyrer More

This is a beautiful old building with delightful decor and very modern conveniences. We stayed in a lovely spacious 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering the hotel is located in the centre of Brisbane shopping area. The location is ideal for those who want to do serious shopping or to just enjoy all that Brisbane... More

Room and service very good.Very noisy. There was a band or loud music downstairs till really late about 1pm. Then drunken people yelling on the street. Location was pretty good close to the shops and mall.

Dear Sherrin Ahhh, Brisbane on a Friday night! Although we do not have a band downstairs, the Beach house across the road does have music until 10:00pm or 10:30pm some nights. As our bedrooms are double glazed, most guests are not troubled by this but we will be pleased to find a quieter room for you on your next visit.... More

Pleasantly surprised by the 2 bedroom apartment. High ceilings, spacious, historic charm, nicely furnished. Good amenities, friendly staff, centrally located. Would definitely recommend. Cafe downstairs was great for breakfast.
