Location is excellent, the room was huge and the bed really comfortable. The newly renovated bathroom is really nice and spacious. The building itself is quite historical. Unfortunately, that description extends to the internet service, which is woefully outdated. For starters, charging for internet these days is largely a thing of the past -- the the excellent apartment hotels around... More

Dear Madonna Thank you for your great review. Yes at 120 paces to the epicentre of Brisbane (the junction of the two oldest streets – Queen & Albert) and 10 minutes from Southbank, it is a great location! WE look forward to welcoming you back soon. Peter Tyrer More

We stayed for one night only, the room was very good, clean and well priced. The location was why we booked this hotel, it is right next to the Queen street mall. The room was spacious and well furnished. I will stay again on my next visit to Brisbane

Dear Mr/Ms Carro Thank you for your kind review. While other hotels have clean rooms, we believe that our location across the road from the Queen Street Mall and spacious rooms set us apart. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Peter Tyrer More

We recently stayed for 2 nights and found our stay at The Royal Albert Hotel quite comfortable. The Hotel is very well located in the city close to the Queen Street Mall and the Myer Centre as well as all the eateries. Southbank is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The car park is very reasonably priced...about half the price... More

Dear Narelle Thank you for your helpful review and for pointing out that our car park rates are about half price of other hotels in Brisbane. We are currently checking the beds and will be replacing any that are no longer offering 5 star comfort. So next time you should have a fabulous nights’ sleep. Peter Tyrer More

This hotel is in the perfect position for shopping, transport, dining and entertainment. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the large rooms are clean and very well equipped. I like that each room has its own laundry.

Booked sub penthouse for family, 2 adults 4 kids, says foldout double sofa bed. On arrival Sofa bed, every spring broken, bed held together by plastic zip ties, half the ties were broken, bed sunk below metal frame on metal bars and rolled down under to one side. Not suitable in any stretch to sleep on. was told they didn't... More

Unfortunately the sofa bed was out of service. We immediately moved the guest to a sub penthouse apartment with a functioning sofa bed. The mattresses are inner spring which are the best quality available but this did not meet the guests’ expectations so we brought up two rollaway beds. There were a couple of lolly wrappers (about the size of... More

Well situated close to Myer and the Mall. Taxi rank outside the Hotel always with taxis available. Great, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable apartment. Reasonable cafe downstairs but many other options close by.

I believe the Royal Albert will become our go-to place for a stay in Brisbane. It is handy to everything in the city as well as the botanic gardens and river, and just 15min stroll to Southbank (which is where we used to stay). If you like a bit of history, the Royal Albert makes the most of its >100... More

A very spacious room with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Bathroom very chic and shower head extraordinary. Location was excellent, as was the ease of parking. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very clean. Close to restaurants, food court and supermarket. Would stay again.

This was a first time at this hotel. The access was easy, price was right and room was huge. Staying in the middle of the city so perfect. Everything I had planned to do was an easy walk. The windows were double glazed so not a peep was heard from the outside world. The heritage style decor was lovely and... More

Dear Leticia Thank you for your great review. I am delighted that you loved our UFO blue lit showerhead! Yes it is an easy walk to the mall, restaurants, shops and Southbank.
