I've stayed here a few times for work and it's a good hotel. The location is good - very central. Lobby nice, reception staff friendly and efficient. Rooms are good - quite large, good bathrooms, comfy beds, nicely decorated, quite modern and comfortable. In-room breakfast is good, arrived on time. Overall very good hotel and one of my first choices... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here our last night in Australia. We had a VAustralia out of Brisbane, so we took the chance to see the city a bit. We flew in from Cairns, took the train into the city, and walked to the hotel (~10 minutes from the main train station). Brisbane seems to have more of a nightlife... more

Barely stayed inside the hotel.I was in Brisbane only for a day. the hotel is impressive .the Brisbane Central Business District is quite close and some must see attractions like the Shrine of Remembrance are quite walkable from the hotel.EVen the Railway station is close by. Our room was nice and comfortable and spacious. However, views were styandard. All we could... more

Stayed at the Novotel Brisbane for 3 days on business in Nov 2007. Room was a great size and, recently refurbished. Bathroom was also spacious but very standard white & Grey. The Work Desk was kinda funky and, had a swivel bit the could swing out so it turned into a side table, creative but not sure if its necessary.... more

We booked the Novotel on a Wotif. Com Wot Hotel, where they don't identify the hotel until after booking. In our case, it turned out to be the Novotel, at $99 per night. A very good hotel located near to Brisbane's Central railway station, BUT, accessed up a steepish hill. Guests arriving by motor vehicle would have no problems here.... more

Spent a day at the Novotel on my way to Sydney. Had booked a standard room but since i was on my honeymoon they were nice enough to give me a free upgrade. The hotel is right in the centre of the Brisbane CBD so if you are looking for good views when you look out of the window then... more

Mainly a leisure trip booked via the internet for four nights and I think it cost about $99AUS per night. Our room was good, the beds were comfortable, and we had a nice view overlooking the square. Staff were efficient and helpful. A male staff member even provided the use of a computer attached to a printer to facilitate "check... more

We live in Brisbane but decided to book one night at the Novotel in the city just for something different. Accor had a great special for $79 per room per night - amazing price for this level of hotel. As mentioned by other reviewers the hotel is right at the top end of the city so is a bit of... more

Good hotel really close to Q-Rail Link Central station just 2 min walk. Advantages – modern style, free internet in the lobby, nice smiling and helpful staff, good satellite TV programs with ppv choice /15 AUD for a movie/ on a LCD-TV, nice and clean outdoor swimming pool but not many chaise-lounges. Disadvantages – Housekeeping clean and make the room... more

probably the worst night's sleep I had in Australia due to the overheated room - the aircon thermostat malfunctioned. Room also very bare and formulaic - cheap feel, but it did have a kettle and fridge, which was good. Food was ok but breakfast good. more
