Having to see a doctor at the private hospital this hotel was close by. But it is what it is, it's basic accommodation that serves the purpose. I will say though the taps for the shower, in our room, were on the outside of the screen, strange. Had dinner and I enjoyed my meal, bed was comfy, the main lift... More

Thank for your feedback on your stay with us. May I extend my sincere apologies for the issues you experienced with the lifts during your stay. Obviously they are neither planned for nor avoidable. We made the decision to shut them down for some preventative maintenance work on the advice of our contractor, rather than risk someone becoming stranded in... More

Good things first. If you need to go to Brisbane Private Hospital or see a medical specialist in Wickham Terrace then you really need to stay here. It is by far the most convenient hotel, next to the hospital and only 5 mins walk to many medical rooms. See it as a necessary but practical choice. Now the downside. Service... More

Thanks for taking the time to give your feedback on your stay with us. I would prehaps argue that taxes are a necessary evil, while your experience of our hotel was more an frustrating inconvienence. And frustrating it undoubtedly was. It takes a number of number of small details to make a good stay, and once any one of those... More

Having wanting accommodation close to Brisbane Private Hospital I couldn't have got any closer. Position was perfect right next to hospital. We stayed in a family room giving us enough room to move around. It is only a three star rating so really you get what you pay for. Good Points- Close to Private hospital. Pub downstairs has great food.... More

This Hotel is different shape to most. A circular building and slightly different rooms. Small bathroom and only a shower. Close to the City of Brisbane and Central Railway Station. I like the economy and good food here. A pub down stairs has a good breakfast, lunch & dinner available with well priced drinks. No mini bar but nibbles and... More

I picked this hotel online as I wanted to stay somewhere close to the city before flying out of Oz two days later. The price was reasonable and I was impressed by the fact that the receptionist let me check in a couple of hours early. Good points: it's close to downtown Brisbane but be warned that it's quite a... have stayed a few times while attending appointments to Brisbane private hospital. Always found staff pleasant and rooms neat and tidy... close to the hospital and CBD. Not too pleased that you have to pay for parking in the parking spaces under the motel

Hi. Thanks for your positive feedback on your recent stay with us. Metro Hotel Tower Mill is certainly in the midst of the Springhill medical precinct and its something we keep in mind with our guests. In fact we offer a direct discount to those booking for medical purposes. Charging for carparking is just a sign of the times I'm... More

My partner & I were stuck in Brisbane for a night, unplanned due to flight complications & we were unable to get a room at our usual choice stays. My partner stumbled across this little spot for a cheap price & central location, which was all we wanted. The room was very basic - byo soap as there are no... More

Stayed here while traveling for medical treatment. Extremely rude people on reception. Very noisey hotel throughout. Beds & table were broken in room, not fixed, not moved to another room. Taps in bathroom leaked, flooding the floor each day/night, again not fixed or moved to another room. Staff at breakfast were rude and ignorant. Tea/coffee in room was part of... More

It is always very disappointing to hear of instances where people have had a less than satisfactory experience at our hotel. Though we never claim to be any other than a well located, well priced, comfortable, clean and friendly venue - it seems that your own experience was wihout any redeemign features at all, which of course is extremely regrettable.... Stayed here one night and the rate was cheap for a reason. Rooms were old and worn and did not feel very clean. There is a pub downstairs and vending machines. Room service steak was not very good so should go out for dinner. I would probably stay again because of the price but would not take the wife and... More

In essence 'Cheap for a Reason' isnt an unfair summation but I realise its not meant entirely approvingly. We are an older style property, with plans afoot for a soft refurb of interiors, but cleanliness, affordability and customer service are a definite focus for us in order to balance any negatvie perceptions adn delvier a comfortable, friendly experience to our... Staff were relatively friendly, room decent size but felt unclean. Wore shoes into bathroom as floor looked a bit gross. Noise from stairs and hallway is audible in rooms and the doors bang very loudly but cant avoid this as otherwise they don't close. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, it was extremely close to the CBD and... More
