Hotel was well located for our quick trip to Brissie. A short walk over to QPAC and South Bank. Hotel had a pool which cooled the kids off after a long drive. Room was tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The parking arrangement was convenient.

Booked a twin room at this hotel 25 Feb (a month ago) for Good Fri & Easter Sat. I was advised today that "unfortunately, they are unable to accept the reservation. However, the hotel has made alternate accommodations for you." (The "new accommodation" is not acceptable to us as it is too far from our Easter venue). I rang Mercure... More

Dear Leona C, Thank you for your review. I can understand your frustration at the situation. The hotel is undergoing an electrical switchboard upgrade over the Easter weekend, as a result of not having power to the building over this time we will be closed and have made every attempt to relocate our guests to nearby sister properties. We would... More

It was a different experience at the Mercure at Brisbane. Good location and close to shops and eateries etc. Car-park was ok, being from regional SA I had forgotton about inner city car-parking. It was a $27 charge per 24 hours for hotel guests. We are a family of 5 + MIL so we had 2 twin share rooms over... More

A mystery deal, good value with the included breakfast, stopped on a Saturday night, arrived early at midday and our room on the 12th floor was ready, which was a bonus. Very helpful check in and convenient location for the city, Queens St, South Bank etc Used the pool, (brrrrr) not heated but after a few lengths ok, the kids... More

Rooms were small with no storage space, zero drawers, small hanging space, poor lighting, bed was hard and uncomfortable, room not cleaned well, or restocked, pipes visible and noise of water running through them at all hours, internet wifi was very unreliable often disconnecting during use. Lobby was confusing and unlabelled reception desk. However staff was nice in general, very... More

A room by the street with the noise of cars and buses stopping at a traffic light every few minutes did not make for a great location. And while there was a "hang on the door" breakfast menu, I couldn't find a pen in the room... The most interesting challenge was a shower area with nowhere to put your soap... More

We stayed for one night as a "mystery hotel" deal when we travelled through Brisbane on the 4th of March. Great location and the front desk staff in the evening were incredibly friendly and welcoming which after driving for 12 hours is exactly what you need. The morning staff member was also very helpful. I work in the customer service... More
