I stayed here one night after there was a fire at my other accom. I'm not sure what people are moaning about. The staff were efficient and friendly, the room was quiet, large and had a great bathroom. Location was fine. Breakfast was outstanding. My only gripe was the car park and the difficulty getting around/ finding a park inside.... More

I’m glad you found our newly refurbished rooms to be large, quiet and with a great bathroom. I know that our Chef... More

On arrival one overworked receptionist, Taking phone calls and trying to help a line all of guests wanting to check in. She was very pleasant but didn't know if the Internet was included in my rate. I had to go back to the check-in desk three times to get a card that worked in the elevator. Annoying. Started work in... More

Spent one night here recently and was very happy with both the room quality and the level of service. The buffet breakfast in particular was excellent and my room had plenty of space even with a desk, table and sofa in it. Wifi connection was fast and reliable and was included with my room although not sure if it is... More

Where do I start! Firstly, I didn't expect anything fancy coming into Brisbane during the G20 summit and booking somewhere so central. For $220 a night and with the photos displayed, I would have at least expected the minimum quality of an international hotel. I hired a car and finding the hotel was difficult. The signage is poor and the... More

Dear HowardCCC We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to review our hotel following your stay. I was very disappointed to read that your experience whilst with us was of a poor standing. The location of the Hotel although very central to the CBD is somewhat difficult to navigate within the one way streets for our out of town guests.... More

This was my first stay at Mercure Brisbane. Check in at the hotel lobby seemed peculiar, with several unmanned stand-up desks, a little like a TV news set, but the staff (3 people) seemed to be hiding behind structural pylons, oblivious to arriving guests on a quiet early evening. I don't think much thought had gone into positioning the staff... More

Stayed here for 1 night on business in a small room. Facilities new and extremely clean. Bed comfy, very decent room service prices and nice food. Had a nice view of the river. Only thing was I had an adjoining room so could hear the guy next door on the phone. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for one night and got a good price as we bought through wotif mystery deal. Room was good - clean and plenty of space. Felt like we were in the older part of the hotel which could do with a bit of a facelift but as I said- we got a great rate so we were happy.... More

We asked the hotel to give us two adjoining rooms as we were meeting our family who live in Melbourne, we came in from the UK. On arrival we were told that one room was on the eleventh floor and one on the tenth and that rooms are not allocated until check-in. There seems little point in making a special... More

I stayed on business for two nights, arriving at approx 10.30pm on the first night. There was a lot of tutting from the check in clerk when she realised that my reservation, made by office, was two Individual bookings rather than one and told me that it was likely that my room key would not work on the second day!...
