Arrived early but got access to room right away. Very comfortable accommodation for two with great views of the river. Staff very friendly and helpful.Handy for using the river ferries but there is a short steep climb back to the hotel which might be a problem for anyone with walking difficulties. more

After arriving at the Medina for a 2 night stop over we couldn't of been more disappointed. Five people in a pokey 2 bedroom apartment, thought it would be large. Family of four stayed 2 nights in 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with river views. Very clean, modern and comfortable. Excellent, friendly staff. Great location, a short walk along the river into town. Right next to Story Bridge but rooms not noisy. Would recommend getting a river view room for the views and balcony. We loved this place. Excellent accommodation. Great apartment with fantastic riverview. The apartment is well appointed, with laundry and kitchen facilities. Pool and spa were great. Medina is well located close to shops and restaurants in the Fortitude Valley, and CBD shops a 10 min walk. We walked everywhere. more

I have stayed at Medina Hotels in sydney and found them fantastic but Brisbane was a big let down! Hair in bathroom draws and on floor on arrival, extensive red wine stains ( we think) on carpet, filthy oven, chipped walls and furniture,stains over couches, wobbly lamps and missing globes, tv remote inconsistent even with new batteries, tv vertical hold... more

I am so glad they where in the local directory, I was staying in another hotel that was awful and needed to get out fast. This is a real find. Located with spectacular views and very nice common areas. Rooms are nice, our room had a very large balcony. Highly recommend it.
