This was to be our first Christmas without children so we decided to have a night away and booked the Ibis. I did call and ask if it was possible could we have a nice room. I found this hotel to be totally unpretentious, the staff were efficient, the breakfast buffet plentyful, great location in the centre of town, clean rooms, very practical, but no frills. more

I'm not a fan of Ibis hotels but understand their purpose and there is definately a place for affordable accommodation without the frills you would usually have included in the rate at a more superior class of hotel. Brisbane has a severe shortage of hotel rooms so this hotel is pretty good value. I have to stay here for business... more

Although this is in a great location of the city, i would not reccomend to family's. The Staff were not very helpful and did not seem intrested in helping us with our questions. Nice Hotel, very recommended. The room was spacious, clean and modern. 5 minutes walk to City Center. Breakfast was OK, and provided a good parking rates for guests. Drawback, very very under staff, had to wait 10-15 minutes for check-in. The rest was superb. more
