We chose this hotel becoz of its location. It was right in the city and took only 10 mins walk to Queen Street Mall. Also, it's right very close to the Brisbane Transit Centre (where you can take the coach to Goldcoast or rent a car from there). The room was well-furnished with elegant design. The most impressive thing was... more

I stayed at The Sebel King George Square for 2 nights and was really happy with many aspects of my stay. The staff were very efficient, polite and friendly. The room was a good size, with a big beautiful bed and a fair sized desk with powerpoints conveniently placed. The food at the bistro, where I ate breakfast and dinner,... more

There was lots of good things about this hotel. The staff were lovely and efficient. When you want to pick up you're car go to the consierge desk first and then wait outside, don't just stand outside like we did and wait for the chap to take your card. :) The restaurant downstairs offeres lovely food and a lovely place... more

Stayed here for 3 nights in November after travelling by bus from Sydney, thought we would end our trip with some luxury and it certainly was. Loved everything about this hotel, cannot say one bad thing about it. Unfortunately the weather in Brisbane was terrible for the time we were there so didnt get to see much of the city... more

Most people in Brisbane will know of this hotel in one of its previous incarnations. It's recently been refurbished, and tastefully so: Rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable, although there is a bit of a lack of natural light. It's extremely conveniently located, close to the CBD and transport. The hotel has 2 hotels in it - the Sebel (5*)... more

My sister arrived before me and checked in and found the girl at reception not very helpful or accommodating. After a change of shift we went back to reception to sort out the details of the package we had booked on their website (Girl's night out). This was supposed to include, free parking, strawberries, free buffet breakfast, but none of... more

This is a pretty good hotel - got a reasonable deal for around $220 on Wotif, which included breakfast and internet. That's a pretty good deal. Location is a short walk to the main shopping drag in the centre of Brisbane, and close to the Casino etc. The room was pretty good - looked like it had been renovated recently,... more

When we pulled up in our car a porter immediately appeared at the window, I thought he was going to tell us that we couldn't park there, instead he unloaded our bags and whisked them inside before I realised what had happened. When checking in, the staff were fantastic, very well presented and the lobby looks amazing!! We were also... more

We got a double room with 2 queen size beds, non smoking floor. I loved the fact we could park the car and catch the train from our hotel. It was a great trip for our daughter, her first train ride. We went into the Ekka and had a great day. The hotel was great, loved the pillow menu. more

Being the fussy traveller that I am, I spent days (literally) researching ALL of the accommodation in Brisbane for my weekend away. I first decided on Citigate and then realised that the Sebel tower is new with bigger rooms and windows and only cost $20 per night more. Very well located and only a short stroll to the mall, casino... more
