This hotel was a welcome surprise. Located on the edge of beautiful Roma Park in Brisbane, this hotel had it all. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable, clean & very reasonably priced. It's an easy walk through the gardens to the train station, a reasonable stroll to Chinatown or the downtown shopping mall. The staff were very helpful and courteous. more

The hotel from the exterior looks a little sad and rundown. But don't be fooled by this. Stayed here for 3 nights. I think the hotel has been recently renovated. The interior looks much nicer than the outside. The room that was booked for me was probably one of the better ones in the hotel. It was spacious, very clean... more

We decided to use the hotel due to the location and what we saw on the website. I have to say that over the 3 days we stayed the staff were attentive very chatty and very friendly and proffessional. The rooms had recently been refurbished and are spacious and very tastefully decorated and more importanly clean! Food was lovely and... more

Have stayed at the hotel in the past and the service has always been friendly but with the refurbishment it makes the hotel a must if visiting Bribane on business. Food has improved 100% and very reasonable ala carte selection. Pay a few bucks more the refurbished rooms, it's worth it, turn down nice touch! more

We stayed at the Hotel Watermark after enjoying a family celebration. The location of the hotel and the facilities are second to none. The rooms are beautifully appointed, clean and with all the amenities you would expect. We were fortunate enough to enjoy breakfast in the restaurant the following morning and we absolutely enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly... more

We arrived around 7pm after flying to Brisbane from north Queensland with two young children. We'd had to kill time in Cairns city before flying too so we were exhausted. The reception area was lovely and I was looking forward to sinking in to a bed for half an hour before finding a meal. But as soon as we left... more

I agree with everyone who has written about how dated this hotel is. It is in serious need of an upgrade. I stayed there with my boyfriend for 2 nights late last year, and on the second day returned to the hotel to find my GHD hair straightener gone. These are not cheap, they retail at $300+. I complained to... more

This hotel is still living in the 80's, outdated and wornout, stayed at the Watermark for one night only, what a mistake, came away with bed bug bites!! Take your money elsewhere. more

We stayed at the Watermark for a long weekend and were very disappointed all round, especially given that it's supposed to be a 4 star. The room and bed were small, with an old double mattress that sank in middle. There was a lot of road noise, but that was nothing compared to the deafening karaoke blasting from the hotel... more

I have to agree with the previous review, having first booked the Watermark onlne and then checking the reviews my husband and I were concerned, and thought we may have made a terrible mistake. However, we were proved wrong, the hotel staff were excellent and extremely helpful with requests for car hire etc. The room we stayed in was classed... more
