This hotel was within walking distance of a shopping centre which was convenient. There was only plastic cutlery and when the staff were asked for a metal knife to cut fruit, they just shrugged and said, "All I have is plastic". The room itself although basic was reasonably clean. The bathroom was tiny and if someone accidentally opened the door... More

Date of Stay: 3rd August 2014 This was our first night in Australia on a 1 month trip through Queensland. After a very long journey from the UK we needed a hotel near the airport and Colonial Village Inn delivered the perfect stay. It was a very short and easy 15 minute drive from the airport and very easy to... More

We stayed 1 night to see a show at BEC. Were very surprised to get room 13! But the room was fine & clean with a nice outlook over gardens. $15 shuttle service to BEC through Mahendra was good value. Enjoyed brekky at the cafe. The only surprising thing was debiting my cc $100 on arrival when the room was... More

Beautiful location and the also the standard villa rooms. I was a solo traveller and hence wanted a hotel which has a cafe nearby. Easy accesibility to the bus station to go the Brisbane CBD. The lady at the reception was helpful. The only thing which I did not like about this place was the opening hours of the Vittoria... More

Colonial village was central to everything, giving access to Australia zoo in 50 min and the theme parks in an hour. Shopping centres just down the road and lots of places to eat. Rooms were clean but the bathroom was situated in the master bedroom, this was not shown in the photos when we booked. If we had of known... More

Very good property reasonably priced. Stayed in the Motel part of the Village and this was excellent. Cafe was great (breakfast included in room rate) with free wifi. Small shop that sold the essentials. 2 minute walk to bus stop and excellent service to Brisbane CBD, 10 minute walk to local shopping centre.

Stayed in Villa 132 and was very happy with the place. Villa was clean and modern with no faults. Free breakfast was complimentary, but we never used because with our equipped kitchen it allowed us to make our own bacon and eggs on toast in the comforts of our own place. Emma was friendly and helpful in her emails. Then... More

We stayed for a night before an early morning flight. Booked a room but got upgraded to a villa. Was a great night and perfect. Close to airport. Lovely staff. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed in villa 49 for three nights. It was much more than we expected for the price. It had a living and dining area with a full sized fridge, bedroom, and bathroom. The villa was incredibly clean and well maintained. Satellite TV was a bonus in the evenings as well. It is conveniently located one block from a bus... More
