Good location if you need to be by the PA hospital and don't want to pay Brisbane CBD prices. However I wouldn't agree with 4.5 star pool area bbq area dirty and ant ridden. Our room had mould in the shower we informed reception who assured us it was cleaned?

There’s a couple of things you really want when you travel hard – a welcoming smile with easy check in, hygienic well-appointed accommodation, a firm bed with decent pillows, a quiet location and access to decent food. Hotel Chino pretty much has all of this. I stayed for one night during a business trip, bunking in with my mother (should... More

We were a bit reluctant when we booked this hotel being, as we thought, not close enough to South Bank and QPAC. We were wrong. The hotel itself is quite nice and, even though the room was small, it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and it is quite clear the restaurant is... Arrived on a Sunday afternoon for a business trip to Brisbane. Thankfully the TomTom got me to go around the block and let me approach from the right direction. All was quiet at the Hotel on check in and the receptionist advised I had a room upgrade. The room was great, clean, tidy with all the required mod-cons. Reading the... More

Very close to the South end of the Clem Jones tunnel, this small hotel provides economical accommodation for the business traveler or out-of-town sports fans attending events at "the Gabba". There is secure parking. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was small but clean and comfortable, with a microwave, simple kitchen facilities and a balcony. I... More

We booked a hotel room for Friday & Saturday nights. Asked Receptionist on arrival about bus transport. She was very vague and following her directions, we walked twice the distance we should have to get a bus into the City. Obviously, she had never used the buses. Room very small, nowhere to put clothes except for a cylinder poking out... More

Was very cheap accommodation on the deal I picked up at $88 per night, but was a great place to stay. The staff made an error on our room, which was a bonus for us as we ended up in a nice size room with a kitchenette and balcony on the 4th floor. We should have been in a smaller... More

I stayed for one night on a quick business trip to Brisbane in a one bedroom basic suite. I was very impressed! I travel frequently on business so I have vast experience of what business travelers need. First impressions of the room: Enough space I certainly didn't feel cramped or crowded: And I am a big aussie bloke who suffers... More

South of the city but in easy reach of both Trains and buses within walking distance to the Gabba. Princess Margret, Greenslopes Private Hospitals 5 - 10 minutes walking distance and the Mater a little further north. For value this is a gem. I recommend the Deluxe Room or the apartment for that little extra unless you just want to... More
