This is a great place to stay but is a little out of the way, rooms were spacious and modern with all facilities I require. Al La Carte breakfast was high quality and the staff very friendly. About a 10-15 minute walk to Southbank so restaurants are nearby.

we were booked into a ground floor cupboard, this would have to be the worst room we have ever stayed in. the bed only just fit in the room so the tv was mounted on the wall to get around the end of the bed you had to bend and walk under it, the bathroom was very small with the... More

Stayed here couple of weeks ago, as i went to check in, the lady with an accent at front desk had no smile, had the feeling of her just wanting to quickly take your money and off you go. Got to the room and it smelt of an old smokers room. Bathroom floor was sticky in places, they use old... More

I've stayed at the Chino many times when going to the cricket at the Gabba. The rooms are clean and fully self contained. We can have our music playing while we have a few drinks at night with the lads and never any complaints. The neighbours cant hear us and we cant hear them. Friendly accomodating staff and free parking.... More

Stayed at the Chino for a week and was very impressed with the overall experience but was particularly blown away with the Restuarant and in particular Alex the chef and his marvellous culinary creations, in lay mans terms the food was absolutely fantastic. A big two thumbs up

Room was nice and service was lovely. Housekeeping left something to be desired but the Management assures me they were working on improving this issue. The noise levels were up there with the balcony door open but with the amount of construction going on in the area, obviously the hotel cannot control this. Parking was easy, but didn't try the... Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time to place a review of Hotel Chino. As new managers we have had a lot of systems and procedures to implement and housekeeping has been our absolute priority this month. We now employ our own staff who work under our direction and the standard is now first class. Our Guest Services Supervisor... More

We have stayed here twice now and find the staff second to none and find it great value for money. Easy to find with secure parking swimming pool and gym. On both of our stays we have enjoyed rooms with a balcony which make it very nice to sit outside and enjoy a wine. Within walking distance of Princess Alexander... More

Hi Sean, As you know I was mortified at what you showed me and I can only apologise and make drastic changes to ensure our cleaners have attention to detail, ensure everything is moved and checked and them have our rooms inspected by a supervisor. This is the process that is being instituted right now at Hotel Chino to ensure... More

We stayed here to be close to family in hospital. It was a great location with easy parking and a very comfortable room with laundry facilities. It also had a great setup for doing work while out of the office. The restaurant downstairs offered a good selection of well priced food.
