The cute room was not a big deal to me as we were outside 12 hours a day enjoying Brisbane and its cool, friendly people. This hotel's location and genuinely professional service compensated for the space constraint. You can walk to the Queen St. Mall easily within 15 minutes, the wonderful Roma St. Parkland in 10, the central station in... More

Location is quite ok for this city hotel, but it's about all! The rooms are extremely small, even so I was upgraded to a superior type. If you are 2 persons, forget about bringing the suitcase along! No real closet or any drawer to put your clothing. The bathroom with an extremely spraying over the room shower, has not even... More

Good location- short 10min walk to shops. couple nice cafes nearby. Very small rooms nowhere to put large suitcase. tea/coffee not replaced after 2 days. Comfy beds and linen. Loved the shower! One unfortunate review I have to give is the service received from one of the receptionist staff (not the blonde- she was lovely!) The other was very unfriendly--... More

When booking a room at this hotel, the photos were deceiving as we were meant to receive a lounge and kitchen. When getting to our room we had nothing. We went to tell the receptionist and show her the proof and we were told that nothing could be done. Very wrong. The city is also a 20 minute walk. Won't... More

Dear Fadi, I am disheartened that you felt the hotel was deceiving, please accept my apologies that this has marred your recent stay at the hotel. After reading your comments I personally reviewed our Mantra website and rest assured the hotel does and always had the appropriate wording attached to every photo pertaining to our three room categories in the... comfortable bed, excellent toilet/bathroom, just a little small. Not much fun with two large suitcases. After two nights, coffee not replaced. Pity really for it was a nice hotel in an excellent position. Staff friendly and helpful.

Booked this hotel with my friend 3 months prior to Brisbane Stereosonic 2014. Got told 3 days before the festival that our booking had been double booked. And it will take us 2 weeks to get our money back... They didn't even make it up to us they just said 'sorry'. Not happy at all.. Furious.

Perfectly located, only few hundred metres from Central station. Check in staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are pretty small, barely enough area to single file around the bed. Contains all the necessities as advertised. Shower is great. Recommend the restaurant downstairs!

We stayed here for a two night stay, checking in was quick, staff friendly, room excellent, bed very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay. They need to offer water in your room free, and need to look at the charges for car parking a little on the high side considering that you are staying in the hotel. I would stay again.

During a 2-night stay, which will be my last at any Mantra: 1) My air-conditioner didn't work properly and broke down in the middle of the night, on a hot night, forcing me to switch rooms and lose about 2 hours sleep. 2) My room was not made up (I left the room at 8:30 in the morning and returned... My husband and I have just returned from a week at Mantra on Terrace and we loved our stay! The rooms are a bit on the small side and we had to move a few things to fit all our belongings (and shopping) in, but the positives far outweighed the negatives for us. Location - We got the train from... More
