During a 2-night stay, which will be my last at any Mantra: 1) My air-conditioner didn't work properly and broke down in the middle of the night, on a hot night, forcing me to switch rooms and lose about 2 hours sleep. 2) My room was not made up (I left the room at 8:30 in the morning and returned... My husband and I have just returned from a week at Mantra on Terrace and we loved our stay! The rooms are a bit on the small side and we had to move a few things to fit all our belongings (and shopping) in, but the positives far outweighed the negatives for us. Location - We got the train from... More

Stay here for work quite often. Rooms are small but perfectly functional. Its got a really good cocktail bar and terrace and pretty good bistro. Good coffee. Easy walk to Eagle St Pier and the CBD, Things that could be better are, wifi and choice to TV channels ( very Australian only). Since being taken over toiletries in bathroom are... More

I recently stayed here for three nights with my mother and although the location was great and close to the CBD and the staff were lovely we were unfortunately disappointed with our stay. -The room was absolutely tiny, even with us being upgraded. The pictures on the website were very misleading. -We were told we would be given two single beds... Value for money. Located in the CBD area, about 300 metres from the train station. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had the facilities that we needed. Service was excellent. We definitely will return on the visit.

The room is pretty small but cosy. It has everything from Wifi connection to a good selection of TV Channels. Location is pretty close to the city. However, the hotel is located on top of a hill and so walking may be a little difficult for older people. Do remember to prepare some cash to place in the hotel as... More

Affordable accommodation in a good location so you have to ask yourself what can you expect for this rate? Great service at front desk, average breakfast downstairs, ac that is blowing straight into your face when you are in bed, no desk, smell of mildew when you enter the room, view on a service alley.

Dear Valued guest, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel from your recent stay with us here at Mantra South Bank Brisbane. I was disappointed to read of the problems you experienced, all the concerns you raised are by no means difficult fixes, so I can assure you both my team and I have addressed the AC... More

Arrived last Saturday for a one night stay in a twin room booked via Expedia and booked it as a Central hotel was essential for a fairly early departure Sunday. On arrival found that there was trace of the booking despite showing the confirmation Email. The very polite check in staff advised that the problem was probably caused by a... More

My husband and I stayed here recently as a weekend getaway without the kids. The room (deluxe double) was not value for money...very small, tiny balcony, no bath and minimal extras (it had shampoo/soap but no body lotion or vanity items). Noisy on Sat am with bins being emptied in the street. Great cafe outside - Jack and Hill -... More

Dear Kate I am concerned to learn of your experience, as on this occasion it seems we have let you and ourselves down. I am currently reviewing your comments with my team including a focus on the value for money so that measures can be implemented to improve those areas you identified.
