It isimpossible to sleep there !!! Every single night there is a party outside, which lasts until 7 am usually. Because of that it is impossible to fall asleep and you wake up repeatedly during the night. People are running along the hallway, screaming and smashing doors. Although we are staying in a private room we do not get any... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was really impressed. The girl who worked there and did everything was really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, tidy and good value for money. Bathroom were up to a good standard decor wise and clean. The only downsides were the doors to the rooms weren't the safest and another member of staff needs... More

The hostel is not clean. Conditions were unsanitary in the kitchen and bathroom. The owner will kick you out if you complain about anything. He is extremely violent and impulsive and will literally throw your belongings out the door. If you upset him he will scream expletives at the top of his lungs at you. I thought he was going... Thought I'd try this place out as seemed reasonable for the room. No aircon anywhere ! Room had window without net or blind Fridges full and small kitchen. Was quiet at night. Staff very rude big put off as they live there too. Microwave was clean tho!

Stayed for around 6 weeks a few months ago. The place itself is nice enough, has a lot of personality and is pretty standard hostel fare, plus it's way cheaper than anything you can get in the area. It's a little run down maybe but nothing really dirty or terrible, I loved the place, kind of a big cool old... More

Great place to stay as not too big and not too small. Easy access with bus stop just outside this place, take 196 or 199 to go to city. IGA supermarket close by which is open 6am to midnight each day. Internet is close by, $2 -20 min or $2 - 30 min at "the Mall" which is about 10... More

I had some good expectations of this place, i had booked via email and had found the staff to be nice and reasonable online. Once arriving to the place i thought it looked a lot worse than the photos on the website, but didn't really worry because it was cheap and you get that sometimes. Upon going in and being... More

Found this place to be nice and different from the others. Good facilities, nice people and friendly atmosphere. Was a bit put off by having to give a deposit for cutlery set but it was only $10 and soon realised that more hostels should do it, it meant the kitchen was always clean and tidy as people actually did there...
