We've spent a very good time here, it's a small hostel with friendly people, very well located, close to the CBD and Fortitude Valley. Thanks to friends we've met, we've found work quickly and stayed 1 month. It's an old house and can be noisy sometimes but the atmosphere is convivial and common rooms are clean. The staff is very... We stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and although the location is great (10 minute walk to train station and short walk to New Farm shops) the actual hostel itself is not worth staying in, unless you plan to be up all night that is. Every night we were at this hostel people were shouting, running up and down... More

The hostel in generell is not so bad. Very close to the story bridge. BUT the french receptionist woman was so rude to me, because I she said that I forget to pay. At the end, she made the mistake, but no "I am sorry". Very dissapointing!!! Brisbane in generell is a nice town in QLD with a nice party... More

Short version: my boyfriend and I flew to Brisbane and arrived to the hostel at around 1.30am and the place is just terrible, the room they gave us was filthy, death bugs everywhere, cigarette filters in the room, so we went to reception and asked for another room, they gave us another one and was exactly the same sh%&$t. Impossible... More

It isimpossible to sleep there !!! Every single night there is a party outside, which lasts until 7 am usually. Because of that it is impossible to fall asleep and you wake up repeatedly during the night. People are running along the hallway, screaming and smashing doors. Although we are staying in a private room we do not get any... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and was really impressed. The girl who worked there and did everything was really nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, tidy and good value for money. Bathroom were up to a good standard decor wise and clean. The only downsides were the doors to the rooms weren't the safest and another member of staff needs... More

The hostel is not clean. Conditions were unsanitary in the kitchen and bathroom. The owner will kick you out if you complain about anything. He is extremely violent and impulsive and will literally throw your belongings out the door. If you upset him he will scream expletives at the top of his lungs at you. I thought he was going... Stayed for around 6 weeks a few months ago. The place itself is nice enough, has a lot of personality and is pretty standard hostel fare, plus it's way cheaper than anything you can get in the area. It's a little run down maybe but nothing really dirty or terrible, I loved the place, kind of a big cool old... More

Great place to stay as not too big and not too small. Easy access with bus stop just outside this place, take 196 or 199 to go to city. IGA supermarket close by which is open 6am to midnight each day. Internet is close by, $2 -20 min or $2 - 30 min at "the Mall" which is about 10... More
