Me and my partner have really enjoyed our stay at Aussie way! The location is perfect, not to far from the city and just around the corner from Caxton street, also the transit centre is just a short walk away. The hostel is very clean and tidy, as they have a daily cleaner and the staff clean as well. We... More

I stayed at Aussie Way for a few days off the back of state of origin. It is just a few blocks up from Suncorp stadium and is within walking distance to the city as well as the barracks (they have some nicer cafes and a cinema there). This is the perfect place to stay if you want to opt... More

We stayed here for two nights in late May 2014. We were going to State of Origin Game 1, and this place is perfect in terms of location to the stadium - 10 mins walk. It is a lovely old Queenslander, with a nice big bathroom. The kitchen is quite small but we didn't use it much. Like all old... More

This hostel has a very nice feel to it. Its in a nice location, walking distance to the city and close to Coles. Its not a partyhostel since you need to be quieter after i think 22.00, which is nice, makes sleeping easier. Rooms would have been nicer if the long stay guests would clean up their stuff more. But... More

Nice and quiet hostel. Not Noisy at all and that's a good point ! NIce facilities. I did enjoyed my stay there. It's not the best place to meet new people because the hostel is small and there's a lot of long term people always together. I did had a nice stay. It's a 15-20 minutes walks to the city,... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights in a 5 share dorm. It's a really nice, quiet place, with a small pool in the backyard. If you're sleeping in the front you'll have a lovely balcony/veranda to chill out. Wifi was pretty fast, 15 min walk to the transit and city centre. Only complain is the small kitchen,... More

cozy backpackers that used to be a large house and has been converted into a hostel. It was cleaner than average, rooms were largish, and price was good. Staff were kind too and because it was small it was easy to meet people there and have good times.

We were in and out I Brisbane for flights ect, so stayed here on a few occasions! We stayed in a double room which is located to the back of the main hostel on Jessie street. This is a house that has basically been converted! Lovely big bathroom rooms with air con and fan! The common areas have lovely big... More

The place got such good reviews- so maybe it was bc we got a room in the back (#3)... Maybe the rooms in the main house are better. Anyway, it was definitely shabby chic but more shabby than chic. Just felt a little run down and there was no outlets in the room after you plug in the fridge and... More

Stayed here as it was rated highly on hostelbookers and decent price. The roo. Was fine, average size, it had plenty of communal space and decent facilities. The girl running it also knew exactly what she was doing which is more than you can say for a lot of hostels. She was really nice. Great place to stay if you... More
