We parked our caravan in an unpowered site for 4 nights. The views were superb, the toilets and showers clean and adequate for the numbers of campers. There were good laundry facilities. The campground was close to the jetty for great trips to Thursday and Horn Islands (in Torres Strait). And we made a day trip to the Most northerly... More

Spent 6 days in the lodge. Rooms were a little small but clean. Kitchen area is clean tidy. If all the rooms were being used the kitchen area would be very cramped as there would be 12 people trying to use one 4 burner stove and one micro wave. You would have to book in times. Close to the jetty.... More

Spent 3 days camping in a beach side hut. Price is what you would expect in a remote area. Toilets and shower pretty clean. Good location to do day trips from. The hut has a sand floor with running water power and lights. Good to set up tents in or around and to have some shelter from the heat.

I have been there twice on seperate occasion and found that the fishing here is probably one of the best landbased spots to fish in australia. I have travelled around aus for fishing and this place has to be the ultimate spot. The amount of Herring {sardines} hanging around the wharf is unbelievable and the things you see off there... More

Agree with everything Debdez says below. Many rooms had broken air con. The location, views and the courtyard area is really the only decent thing about it. The shared amenities were ok - although there were 4 men's showers and only 1 ladies one - however I understand that is predominantly a fishing area, so I guess that makes sense.

Gas lighter not working. Soap in bath room, nice to know if it was new? No face washer at all. Loved the location. Wouldn't take... More

We was only booked in the camp site for one night, but we ended up staying 4 nights !!!. Due to the fact the 4wd vehicle broke down twice, as we was on a 10 day Fly/Drvie with Frontier Safari / Australian Wild Escapes.. The camp site was a very welcome relief after spending hours stranded on the side of... More

There aren't alot of options in Seisia so they can and do charge a huge premium for there rooms. The rooms themselves are not very clean are old and tired. Holes in the vinyl. For $230 for a night you should be able to expect much better.Beware if you are late checking out, they will charge you an extra $35... More

Well-located, clean and comfortable cabins (although the older A-frames are a bit tired and in need of upgrade). Ideally located near beach and jetty. Great food at Cafe, but Kiosk has strangely limited supplies. Basics like plain white milk not sold, but flavoured milk is. Odd. Wi-Fi available in shop for reasonable price.

Good camping and caravan park, close to water and walking distance to supermarket, jetty and fishing club. Sites are good size and facilities are great, plenty of hot water in the showers. Cafe/kiosk has some odd operating hours but nothing unmanagable. Can't comment on the bungalows as we didn't use them but others said the air con was lovely.
