Started off pleasant in horn island, and Thursday island. (Highly recommend) Until on the third day we had arrived to seisia holiday adventure park. We where promised a cottage on the park and where given nothing close to it. My partner and I where shown a "mates" accommodation that went by the name 'oasis accommodation' to describe it in detail... More

Local teenage boys entering ladies toilets and showers whilst I was in toilet. Being abusive standing on toilets and using showers. Then at night very loud parties, music, language till 4:00 in morning one night and 2:00am next night. Management were not contactable and one of park guests was verbally abused when he approached house and asked for music to... More

Spent 3 nights tenting here. Laundry facilities were great with 2 laundry blocks backing onto each other and plenty of clothesline. The toilet and showers were okay. The showers were basic without an area to put things you didn't want getting wet. I left everything in a large plastic bag and put on the hook on back of door, worked... More

Stayed three nights on a powered site with no water. Shower block was the worst by far on a 10500lm trip. Whilst there any great van sites ours was extremely disappointing. Staff were reasonable but no enthusiastic by any means. Would stay at Loyalty Beach or Punsland Bay next year when we come up

We parked our caravan in an unpowered site for 4 nights. The views were superb, the toilets and showers clean and adequate for the numbers of campers. There were good laundry facilities. The campground was close to the jetty for great trips to Thursday and Horn Islands (in Torres Strait). And we made a day trip to the Most northerly... More

Spent 6 days in the lodge. Rooms were a little small but clean. Kitchen area is clean tidy. If all the rooms were being used the kitchen area would be very cramped as there would be 12 people trying to use one 4 burner stove and one micro wave. You would have to book in times. Close to the jetty.... More

Spent 3 days camping in a beach side hut. Price is what you would expect in a remote area. Toilets and shower pretty clean. Good location to do day trips from. The hut has a sand floor with running water power and lights. Good to set up tents in or around and to have some shelter from the heat.

I have been there twice on seperate occasion and found that the fishing here is probably one of the best landbased spots to fish in australia. I have travelled around aus for fishing and this place has to be the ultimate spot. The amount of Herring {sardines} hanging around the wharf is unbelievable and the things you see off there... Agree with everything Debdez says below. Many rooms had broken air con. The location, views and the courtyard area is really the only decent thing about it. The shared amenities were ok - although there were 4 men's showers and only 1 ladies one - however I understand that is predominantly a fishing area, so I guess that makes sense.

Gas lighter not working. Soap in bath room, nice to know if it was new? No face washer at all. Loved the location. Wouldn't take... More
