This park is a great quiet stop over when exploring the gem fields. The amenities and management are second to none and very helpful. But we experienced inhospitable local and regular campers who seemed to take offence at a motor home parked next to their camps during a one night stop over. Never experienced this before. It was explained that... More

We had been told it was good but were blown away by the layout. The caravan park is spacious and very well appointed. There are two well-stocked camp kitchens unlike anything we have seen before. We stayed in one of the ten cabins. It was spacious, relatively cool and private. The only downside was that it needed two bed lamps... More

This place is a real gem. The amenities are awesome and you could rock up with just your food and use their facilities and equipment to cook your meals. The caravan sites are great the way they are set out, spaced well so no-one is looking into another persons van. Highly recommend this park, the best we have ever been... More

We originally booked in for 2 nights but ended up staying for 7 as the caravan park is that good. This park has been set up with a concrete pad for the awning to go over but there are also small concrete pads on the right hand side for the caravan wheels to go onto. This makes the van level... The sites are set out specifically for the grey nomads and their caravans. We were given a tent site which was not big enough for the camper trailer. We had to use the camp kitchen as ours was jammed up against a tree. The camp kitchen is a long way from the tent sites and was missing a vege peeler... More

We recently stayed here for two nights. This caravan Park was the best park I have stayed in. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. Everything is so clean and tidy. The camp kitchen comes fully equipped all you have to bring is your food.

We spent 2 nights in the Sapphire Suite, which was the best appointed cabin we have ever stayed in. The bathroom was large and 5 star hotel additions. The cabin was very clean, well apointed and the bed was very comfortable. Without doubt one of the best (if not best), we have stayed in a Caravan park. It even had... More

I've just spent 2 nights visiting my parents who have come here every year for 3-4 months. The park is beautifully laid out unlike some of the surrounding parks. Cleanliness is a credit to the owners. This park also has the benefit of wallabies, galahs and lorikeets at feeding time in the afternoon. Highly recommend a stay here if you... More

We are on our third trip round this huge country of ours in our caravan and each time on our homeward journey we come to Sapphire Caravan Park for real relaxation. It would have to be one of the best caravan parks on our entire trip, even though you are actually in a park, it feels as if your are... More

We are an older couple who travelled from Winton to Blackwater, staying in motels and caravan cabins along the way. This was without doubt the best of all the accommodation that we experienced. Its price per night was very competitive. All the previous reviews on this site speak of the same friendliness of the proprietors, the cleanliness of everything, the common... More
