We were pleasantly surprise once we arrived at this park. It had a bush setting and the caravan lots are spacious. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The camp kitchen is great and the bush decking is enticing to go sit there and talk to other fellow travellers. It is in the gem fields so there is plenty to... More

We have stayed at Sapphire Caravan Park 3 times now. The first time gave us the best impression, therefore we do not look elsewhere on subsequent visits. From the friendly greeting when we arrived right through to assisting with getting our van on site then to the beauty of the park. The camp kitchen is the best and most beautiful... More

Everything in the reviews is spot on. This is a cute little park. Level sites, close to amenities and the park is not too big. Would definitely stay here again when travelling through this part of Queensland.

Fantastic park. Large LEVEL sites, best camp kitchen you will ever see, excellent BBQ area with open fire and wood supplied, washing facilities for fossickers and last but not least friendly cooperative proprietors.

What a fabulous caravan park. Great location set amongst natural bushland. Sites well positioned and spacious. Excellent facilities in the camp kitchen and the BBQ / Deck area. Best of all, fantastic service from Marianne the park owner. So friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this park to other travellers and look forward to going back there again.

This park is a great quiet stop over when exploring the gem fields. The amenities and management are second to none and very helpful. But we experienced inhospitable local and regular campers who seemed to take offence at a motor home parked next to their camps during a one night stop over. Never experienced this before. It was explained that... More

The park mentioned in this is not the Sapphire Caravan Park. Some of the photos belong to Sapphire Caravan Park and some do not. We do not have parking right next door to other campers and no locals to speak of. More

We had been told it was good but were blown away by the layout. The caravan park is spacious and very well appointed. There are two well-stocked camp kitchens unlike anything we have seen before. We stayed in one of the ten cabins. It was spacious, relatively cool and private. The only downside was that it needed two bed lamps... More

This place is a real gem. The amenities are awesome and you could rock up with just your food and use their facilities and equipment to cook your meals. The caravan sites are great the way they are set out, spaced well so no-one is looking into another persons van. Highly recommend this park, the best we have ever been... More

We originally booked in for 2 nights but ended up staying for 7 as the caravan park is that good. This park has been set up with a concrete pad for the awning to go over but there are also small concrete pads on the right hand side for the caravan wheels to go onto. This makes the van level...
