Such amazing staff, beautiful location!! The amenities couldn't be cleaner, the tent camping area is like you're camping in the bush you can even have your own fire. My husband & I were blown away by this caravan park. Just wish we could get there more often.

We stayed here for one night- wish it could have been longer! Upon arrival we were greeted by the lovely Maryanne, who was very accommodating despite us arriving two days later than originally booked (and not managing to get in touch sooner due to a lack of phone signal!) Her husband showed us to our pitch, which was completely away... More

We stayed in a cabin at the park. we were only there one day but what a beautiful area. The cabin wall were made of stone to fit the area. There were BBQ facilities with plenty of room to sit with a family. Loved our night there. Reasonably priced as well.

In a very un-picturesque town this park showcases the Australian bush flora and fauna. With both indoor and outdoor camp kitchens boasting huge undercover decks the Aussie bush comes to life. Cabins are comfortable and practical and campsites are shady, bushy and quiet. Facilities are clean and uncrowded. Adrian and Mary-Anne are welcoming, happily sharing local knowledge. This is a... We were pleasantly surprise once we arrived at this park. It had a bush setting and the caravan lots are spacious. The owners are friendly and very helpful. The camp kitchen is great and the bush decking is enticing to go sit there and talk to other fellow travellers. It is in the gem fields so there is plenty to... More

We have stayed at Sapphire Caravan Park 3 times now. The first time gave us the best impression, therefore we do not look elsewhere on subsequent visits. From the friendly greeting when we arrived right through to assisting with getting our van on site then to the beauty of the park. The camp kitchen is the best and most beautiful... More

Everything in the reviews is spot on. This is a cute little park. Level sites, close to amenities and the park is not too big. Would definitely stay here again when travelling through this part of Queensland.

Fantastic park. Large LEVEL sites, best camp kitchen you will ever see, excellent BBQ area with open fire and wood supplied, washing facilities for fossickers and last but not least friendly cooperative proprietors.
