When I booked this apartment I was very unsure whether I'd made the right decision...the last review sounded really good but previous ones were not as good. But it appears that the property has undergone some renovations since the earlier reviews and I'm pleased that I made the decision to stay here. We were also in Room 30 which is... More

We were staying in Room 30 and were very pleasantly surprised to find the room very clean and modern. It is very well equipped with air condition, fan, tidy kitchen, big fridge, TV, balcony and very modern bathroom. Best of all is its location. Beaches, Botanical Garden, Darwin Water Front, Darwin CBD, bus stops are all within walking distances. We... More

worst holiday experience. Was given the wrong room number from the off-sight owner (no reception at apartments). Arrived to find someone in our room, tried to call the contact number given, no answer, about 3 hours later I managed to get a hold of someone who informed me that I was given the wrong room number. When I finally got... More

Frankly I think some of these ‘good value’ reviews are a little misleading. If you want to get a room at a cheap price than this is probably worthwhile. Just reflect on the fact that when you’re asleep the cleanliness and setting of the rooms is of no concern. Once you’re awake, however, it’s different. The furniture and appliances are... More

I was travelling alone and Having read the reviews, I was a little concerned but must say I was pleasantly surprised! I stayed here for a week, the staff were nice, I swam in the very well maintained pool everyday and returned to find fresh towels and room tidied every time. It was a quiet location and only a 10... Once I made the booking I was concerned about staying in a dreadful place...NOT TRUE...it was clean, no noise, fresh towels everyday...housecleaning wasn't too early, they were friendly.....$110 p/n was so cheap it was usually $200p/n but I don't think I would pay that...Darwin is expensive but a unit with cooking fac, air/con clean, pool what else do you want?... Good points - quiet location, easy walk to town - close to buses (free for seniors) good pool& bbq friendly and helpful reception staff Bad points - dated1960's decor, needs a make-over - noisy but effective wall air conditioner, very early housekeeping If you are not over fussy it's fine

Having read the reviews I wasnt expecting much. It was clean and had all the facilities we needed, kitchen, aircon, parking, location and price. Fine for a night but not for a holiday. Badly in need of updating.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. When checking in we were not advised of the hotel's layout or facilities. We were apparently placed in a totally refurbished room which showed amazing lack of attention to detail. The taps in the bathroom did not match, the grouting was unevenly applied, the A/C impossible to understand how to work. The flatscreen... More

Booked because of the good reviews, this ground floor apartment had a certain third world look to it. The air conditioning unit had a towel stuffed round the side of it, the fan dangled from the ceiling with exposed wires, the fluorescent lights had flies trapped in them. The apartment was run down, very depressing and shabby though clean and basically... More
