My husband and I stayed two nights at the Palm City Resort. Our first room had a bug problem but we were given another room which was bug-free. Aside from the bugs, the rooms were very clean. The rooms were on the small side, but had everything you'd need, and for the amount of time we actually spent in the... more

All in all a pretty Resort. With pool and BBQ Area. Only criticism: We got a room for three ppl. But we´ve booked for four adults. They just put a really uncomfortable fourth travelbed in. And we still had to pay the whole price without being told in adavnce that they actually did not have an more rooms for 4... more

We stayed there on our Australia trip for three nights. The first day we had the villa for only 10 Dollar more than the Motel Room. The other two Days after a great Kakadu Trip we stayed in a Motel Room because the Villas were booked out. The Motel Room and the villa, both were absolutly clean. We enjoyed to... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights before going off to Kakadu. We then returned to the hotel. On both occassions we paid for a villa and it is worth the extra money. Whilst the rooms aren't large the outdoor space, with your own barbeque makes up for it. There are facilities to leave luggage and there are laundry... more

My friends and I stayed at Palms City Resort for 4 nights and are pleasantly surprised by their amazing staff.. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, never failing to assist us when we needed it.. We were allowed to check in at 11am plus even though the official check in time was 2pm.. we were very grateful for this... more

We stayed at Palm City Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Palms there are, 'City'?, yes there is a two-storey L-shaped building with rooms and balconies. But 'Resort'?, we saw no grass, and no open space apart from the small pool and pool area. And Darwin has no city beaches. The 'Resort' is full of brown, prefabricated 'huts' of some... more

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Palms City Resort. I apologise that you felt the name of the resort was misleading. As you have stated, yes, they are plenty of palm trees around the resort. The “city” denotes the location of the resort given that it is located on The Esplanade in the heart...

We stayed in Darwin for a total of six nights and the first three at this resort. After reading the reviews on this site, we decided to book a superior motel room as we figured we'd have more space than was available in one of the villas. We booked four months in advance and requested an upstairs room with balcony... more
