The only thing going for it is - position on the Esplanade and proximity to shopping centre. We booked a "Unique Tropical Villa" for $180 per night expecting a reasonable room with at least some privacy and space. Not so!!!! The room had only about 500mm space beside the bed and the sliding door, just enough for a bedside table... more

We decided to stay in the larger villa, but found out it was very close to the road and noisy early in the morning, so asked to be moved a bit further away from the road. But being a weekend and just around the corner from the Irish pub, the next 3 nights were noisy, especially the sat. night the... more

I arrived on a late evening flight arrived into a motel room which was not what i was expecting, the room was very small the cockroaches were not, i know in the tropics you get insects but i stayed at another three motel and villas around the Darwin area after this and did not see another cockroach in any other... more

Wife and Self stayed 11 nights in "duplex villa" after extensive reading thru TripAdvisor and else where. Staff friendly and courteous. Room serviced daily. Despite an "Irish" pub being directly behind, noise was not a problem, Bit of a hint, try to steer away from the motel rooms that back on to the hotel, although it appears the music stops... more

I really have quite a few negative comments on this accomodation option. Hardly a resort despite the name. Buildings are crammed together and there is little space in between the bungalows. Bbqs were advertised but there is no bbq for over half the guests it is only for a small few in certain bungalows. We found our room left open... more

My husband and I stayed in one of the duplex villas. While the villas are not huge, it was certainly big enough for us. The balcony was great, with a table and chairs and a BBQ. Our villa was located in the middle of the complex and we had no problem with any noise from either the traffic or the... more

I was traveling for business and my employer knew I had a carer and 2 young children with me. While the pool and grounds were excellent the accommodation was way too small which meant we had to move after one night. There is no where to sit or cook even simple things or just a small space for the kids... more

The location of the hotel (motel?) is good, on the Esplanade in the centre of Darwin. However, the accommodation itself is reminiscent of a holiday camp and our duplex apartment was in fact a plastic hut, crowded in the midst of even less salubrious motel-style accommodation. The room felt really cramped and it seemed more like camping than staying in... more

Great location - one block to restaurants in Mitchell Street. We stayed in the motel room, which was clean and modern. There is a lovely pool area and gardens. Close proximity to Mitchell Street clubs/pubs means loud music until around midnight each night if your room backs the pub next door. more

A friend and I spent two weeks camping and exploring the Northern Territory, beginning in Alice Springs and travelling up the Stuart Highway. When we finally reached Darwin we wanted to splurge a little on our accommodation, as the plan was to spend our last few days relaxing and recuperating. On arrival we handed over our travel voucher but the... more
