I stayed 1 night in a villa and loved having my own little house, with microwave, crockery etc,and a lovely balcony looking onto greenery.. There was free wifi but it only really works in reception. The breakfast was included and was a full English which I love, and very good It is in a good central position but away from the... More

I have just returned from Darwin. I stayed for two nights in the standard motel room. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, For the room rate of $ 205 per night one would expect to have at least a hair dryer available. I have asked for a wake up call as the... More

I arrived from a flight in the middle of the night to a very friendly person on reception. I had booked a villa and didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The room was well equipped and the furniture looked reasonably new. The villa was very clean. I had plenty of room, a very comfortable bed, toaster, microwave,... More

Be very careful if booking through Booking.com as this hotel immediately charges your credit card in full including an extra 4% for Amex and then another 4% if you cancel despite all the assurances from Booking.com about no cancellation charges. It is all there in the very fine print but you need to be super alert to see it.

we stayed 3 nights - 2 nights in a Hotel room & 1 night in a Villa. The hotel rooms were very roomy, with a queen bed & a single bed, a bar sized fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. Pool towels were provided in the room & room serviced daily to a high standard. The bathroom was adequate... More

I stayed here for five nights recently while attending a conference. While basic the room was very comfortable and had everything required. The place is very clean and all staff friendly and approachable. Loved the pool area as a place to relax and talk to other residents. Also within easy walking distance of the convention centre. My only suggestion would... More

Stayed in a motel room after a week in the bush. Expected a lot more. A very basic room with only 1 chair to sit on for two people. Bathroom good and room very clean. Laundry nearby with 3 washing machines which cost more than advertised and 3 dryers none which worked. Found outside line. Easy walking to centre of... More

An unusual style for a city hotel, with bungalows, each one separated by a small garden and path. I think the gardens help to keep it cool with breezes blowing through the louvres. Electric kettle barbecue on the porch was handy and a small kitchen/food preparation area was also good but the room itself was fairly small. The overhead fan... More

We stayed in a villa and found the old style tropical villa appealing as reminded us of darwin in the late 60's - practical and un pretentious. Room small but bathroom good size - nice to have the private verandah to sit on. Has everything needed in kitchen area to make a sandwich or snack. However , we had breakfast... More
