Stayed for a week. Fantastic reception staff. I was in the east wing, take a packed lunch. When you finally get to your room, it's clean and tidy, but dated though. Comfortable bed. “Intermittent showers”

A properly working shower is one of the essential standards for a quality hotel. The room I stayed in (for a week) failed dismally in this regard and several requests to rectify the problem went unanswered. Fellow workers who have stayed at this property agreed that issues with plumbing are not uncommon...

“Good location, clean, and loved the hugh pool”

We stayed for 4 nights.The room was large, clean, good air conditioning and bathroom supplies restocked each day. Close to city centre but also quiet and has a huge pool and staff friendly. The price is a bit expensive considering the decor that is a bit tired, but it is Darwin after all. Would stay again

“Good Location”

Whilst the location of this property is excellent on the Esplanade the rooms particularly the bathrooms are tired and in need of some attention. Staff were helpful although were unable to provide much tourist information when booking in on a Sunday.

“Good clean comfortable room, quiet.”

I as did 3 others stat at hotel for one night, all separate rooms. No complaints all apparently had a good night. My room was comfortable and very quiet, clean and well maintained. Check out was quick and efficient, not the case in many places. The name was being changed as we booked out to Hilton, hope the standard remains.

Recent changeover from Crowne Plaza to Doubletree and boy is there a lot of updating to be done, i wish the team all the best! Service was good, very kind, welcoming staff which is always a plus. Stayed for 4 nights. Decor nothing special but room was big enough. Used complimentary shampoo bottle was left in corner of shower for 3 days although bed was remade. Staff were helpful.
