Located on Mitchell St, the Value Inn is in the heart of Darwin and a great location for exploring the city on foot. Next door to the vibrant youth hostel, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We had been told the rooms are small - they are! Comfortable beds. Good for the price in a city centre location, although we... More

Although the chap on reception was very helpful and friendly, we found that the standard of the hotel was very poor. Should really be classed as a backpackers hostel. In fact it didnt help that we had to go through a back-packers hostel to gain access. Room was extremely small and cramped, no proper wardrobe. Noisy air-con outside. Only good... More

You get what you pay for, It's a backpackers really. Pissed up euros, bad showers ,right next to a loud nightclub. If your to old for all this fun and games like me spend the extra elsewhere. The staff were very nice though.

Hi, Reception could have been a bit more friendly. The room was great for the price, no problems. The only issue I had was luggage storage. I had heavy luggage. Reception did not open until an hour after last check out. Next door at Melaleuca the staff were too busy to help so I had to drag my heavy luggage... More

We stayed here as a part of our intrepid tour. Not somewhere we would normally book. We did stay at the Darwin central prior to the tour and that was really lovely for just another 35 a night. Value inn is run down, taps and shower dripping, rusted door frames, windows, shower frames and fridge. Interior smelled of cigarette smoke.... More

Well located. All downhill from there. Mould covered walls, poor after hours access, limited and unfriendly parking area, amenities areas ? not clean, noisy air conditioning, faulty shower and shoddy bathroom fittings. Bed was OK, spent as much time as possible somewhere else, only came back for sleeping and changing.

Generally stay at this place when in Darwin. The location suits well. Close to nightlife, malls and CBD. Offers parking if and when available. Certainly offers the best price in town. Accomodation can be limited in Darwin. Specially in tourist season.

Friendly staff. Fantastic value!!! Great room with everything you need. In the centre of the city. A bonus is it is completely soundproof. You can not hear any noise from the outside wildlife(partygoers). Secure parking.

We looked around for accommodation on the internet and came across this place. We thought it was too good to be true for what some motels were charging. Not disappointed when we arrived. The room was spotless , not huge but when you are travelling you are not paying for somebody else's real estate. Close to the beach and all... More
