Up until checking out I was pleasantly surprised with this hostel. Small and friendly, kitchen always clean and bathrooms fine. Even the laundry facilities were good. One new staff member invited me to the cinema with some friends = fantastic! Then on my final day (check out at 10am) I stayed on the premises until 4pm with my bag in... More

Location is good- you can walk from hostel to everywhere e.g. mindil beach or to the waterfront area. It's not too close to the main street which can get very rowdy at night. 4-bed dorm is ok. Just that the shared toilets and showers are below my expectations- cubicles are small and sometimes dirty, since the hostel was full during... More

Spent just one night in a family room (2 adults & 2 children) before leaving Australia. The room was clean and spacy. The pool was clean and great fun for the young ones. Cosy atmosphere and a friendly environment. "Hanging out in the evening talking with the other guests was just great" according to our 7 year old. The staff... More

Very simple and run-down hostel with shared toilets and outdoor kitchen. We stayed in a private room, old bed, dirty linen and the refrigerator was also dirty. Only positive was the free breakfast. No accommodation I can recommend.

Slept here 3 nights, triple room without window.. Good AC and fan, small fridge in room. Comfortable. Nice pool with lots of seating areas and tables to meet and talk .. Breakfast very good self service, clean up after. Shower and wc shared and usually clean, except late at night. Great quiet location.. Staff super friendly !!

When we arrived for a three-night stay at Dingo, we realized this was a party city and the hostel was party central. Our room was right next to the laundry facilities, which were being used all night long. I could feel the bed frame as I slept since the mattress wasn't very thick and if you use the air conditioning,... More

Stayed here after my Kakadu Safari & had a blast at this friendly little hostel. Dirty & dusty and ready for the City again this was a the perfect choice. Decided to spend up big & take a whole room to myself.............$102.00 well spent for a double room, air conditioning in the quietest of hostels. Make sure you are up... More

Decent rooms, clean toilets and showers, and friendly staff. Only drawback is that it's farther than most of the other hostels to restaurants, and that it doesn't have its own bar. Definitely a good value for the price and will stay there again.

(This is the first time I give a terrible-rating. But oh boy, they deserve it. I refer to one of the female staff members. The other one seemed okay.) Quote from my confirmation email: "Our reception is open from 6:30 AM until 8:30 PM, however we have late check-in details that are emailed at the time of booking confirmation if... More

I stayed here for 4 nights in a single room. Hostel was pretty quiet and peaceful, the pool with overhanging frangipani a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle and heat. It's fairly small, the staff were really helpful and friendly and I met some lovely other travellers. The facilities are good too, on the older side... More
