After booking and paying for 9 nights, we found out we needed to leave one night early. When I asked if we could get our money back for the last night they just said no we don't do refunds and that was it! Sad thing was we were going to come back. We are staying in Darwin another month but... More

Great park. Everyones happy. Must be the beautiful weather. Ammenities are clean and modern and pools are great. Staff are helpful and friendly. Ensuits are available too for some powered sights. They will also store your car and van if you continue on to Bali or Thialand.

Really disappointed with our stay here. There was so many people crammed into the sites and there wasn't enough toilets and showers for peak times. The smell (sewerage?) was ever present and the mop water to clean shower out sfter use smelt like it didn't get changed. The staff were unfriendly and it was expensive. Would definately not stay again.

We were booked for 8 nights in July in a Villa.... It certainly didn't look like a Villa.... The diamond vinly flooring and decor was horrible. The room was very average. We went out to see Darwin after arriving at the room, and that night upon our return and turning the air-conditioning remote on - a cockroach came out of... More

The caravan park was good, our amenities block was probably the best I've ever been into, almost an ensuite. The 'staff' we very friendly and helpful when asked for assistance, but the bad was the office computer system, which left me having to defend myself regarding payments previously made. And finally to the ugly, the owner of the park proved... More

We enjoyed our stay here & staff pleasant enough. They cram everyone on top of each other & lots of unhappy campers because of this - cannot always have your vehicle next to your camp. The paved road throughout the park is okay too EXCEPT they have these big boulders placed on the corners and bends making it very difficult... More

We spent a week here and the camping area varied, from very shady sites to non shaded ones. Facilities were modern, well maintained. Pools were great, also children's play areas. The location was fine, not far from Darwin, near local shops and pretty close to the Arnhem Highway -handy for trips to the wetlands. Overall a good experience. The policy... More

Booked a room, rocked up to get key and no room available. No apology offered. Horrible service, I would advise anyone not to bother with howard springs big 4. I have never come across a business that was more rude to their paying customers. It was a real disappointment

Unfortunately I couldn't find my BIG 4 card when we arrived! Apparently, the girl couldn't look up my number then and there. $13.40 is still better in our pocket! When we left and returned over the next two days, office wasn't open. We were out doing tourist things. It also took some time to get our 21 foot caravan into... More
